The dark one's okay, the light one is totally gross to me.

I've only tried the regular Shiner. I liked Fat Tire too. Haven't we had this discussion already?

Hey, I tried Red Stripe last night. Jamaican Ale. Not bad at all.

Dont drink the bottled one, get the can version. If it's still too strong, try Harp, it's the light lager version of Guinness.

Rick, you might like a mix of Harp+Guinness (The Guinness Black+Tan)

My latest beer addiction is Boddington's Pub Ale:

VERY VERY good. Try it.

Welcome, ALX! Any friend of Rick's is a friend of mine.

I used to love Shiner Bock, and remember that on the literature or the website they'd invite you down to the brewery for a tour and a free Shiner. Also loved Guiness and Bodington's, and have a funny story about trying to bring back some Bodington's from Los Angeles on a plane back when I couldn't get it here. Was standing in line waiting to check my luggage and not thinking, I mentioned to a nearby guy that I hoped they didn't explode on the plane. That got some attention and I had to explain that I was talking about the CO2 packs in the beer, and I wasn't sure how those were affected by altitude. They made it home with me safely.

  Yeah, I'll bet that raised an eyebrow or two.

You had a valid concern though. The crappy coffee they serve, on American anyway, comes in very well sealed, metallic looking plastic bags. The Flight Attendants ask us not to over stuff the compartment they go in because they definitely expand as the plane climbs.

I believe I may have been too tired to pay attention... but who exactly is Alx? New poster here? And what does he or she have to do with that youtube link?

And while we are on beers... Chile beer... brewed by and served at Crazy Ed's Satisfied Frog Restaurant in Cave Creek, AZ. The beer has a green chile in it, and the beer takes on the chile flavor, but it kills the heat, so you can still eat the chile. It's pretty dang cool. 8)

There has to be a distributor that has this stuff... I've yet to see it anywhere outside that restaurant but there are so many places that carry those off the beaten path microbrews that I know it has to be someplace. I've been online and I found a distributor awhile back, but I couldn't find who they distribute to.

So if anyone ever sees Satisfied Frog Chile Beer, inform me immediately.

Yes, a new member. There are login issues being worked on though. May be a while before she can get in here. The Youtube is just because. ;)

I like my Harp and Guinness together in a nice Black & Tan.
