Allison Iraheta blows me the fuck away. I'm so impressed with that girl. iTune version is just as amazing as the live version.

I love Danny's voice, but I hate his frat-boy bullshit personality and those fuckin' glasses and his cockiness is getting old.

Anoop Desai did a really good job with "Ooh, Baby, Baby", a song that I have loved forever, but I don't think he's got too many more episodes.

Megan, fuckin' disaster, wrong song, but I like her style.

Blind piano guy, HAS GOT TO GO.

Matt, the other piano dude, is awesome.

Michael, that went home, should have gone home last week.

Lil Rounds, sucked alot! She's good, but this week, she was NOT.

The homophobic bullshit about Adam is childish and needs to stop. Years ago being black on a show like this would not have been acceptable either, and before that, being a woman wouldn't have been cool either. Progress is a good thing.

Kudos for your post. I like your writing style. I can't believe it, but I agree with EVERYTHING you said in your post. Who the hell are you? I like you.... :D

Agree with almost all of the above (except Megan, don't get her and the judges' previous praise of her at all). But - you missed one - Kris. What's your take on him?

Well, thank you kindly my friend. I'm just a huge fan of Journey and all things musical. I don't think anyone's sexuality matters where good music is concerned.

By the way, my partner is working in Eugene, Oregon. I visited there a few months ago and absolutely fell in love with it. I'm planning on visiting there again the first week of May.

Thank you again and it's nice to have some like minded people on here.

Have a great weekend.

I thought I missed someone. I think Kris is pretty good, and love it when he plays his guitar. I thought he did really well last week.

I think Megan is a VERY specific artist. I want to hear her sing some Ricky Lee Jones or maybe some of the material from that English girl, Adele.

Megan is surely beautiful, but I haven't really heard a good vocal from her yet.

Lil was the big surprise for me this week.
I was expecting her to deliver an awesome performance of a song from this genre, but she didn't.

Therefore I am wondering if the style the kids sing in these days prevents them from just SINGING a song.
They do all these vocal gymnastics with their notes when sometimes all is needed is to just sing the song because the songs of that era were well crafted and do not need all this stuff the kids do these days.

I thought Adam played it absolutely right.
After his theatrical rendition of Ring Of Fire it would be natural to think it had to be followed by something even more dynamic, and the week after go even further etc - but just how DO you follow that Ring Of Fire? You can't. So you go to the other end of the spectrum and play it down with a version of something which is soft and just plain damn beautiful.
The fact that the legendary Mr Robinson gave the kid a standing ovation says it all, really.

I agree, blind piano guy has to go soon. So does Anoop, so does Megan.
I have seen the Danny arrogance that others have spoken of earlier, so that is making me go off him a bit, even though I think his voice is great.
He was in my top three [with Adam and Alison] but now he's slipped down my list.

The rest of them, I really like and I hope all of them get a good career out of this.
I am enjoying watching this show very much.
Can't wait to see what Adam comes up with next week.
For me he is making this more than just a weekly talent show. The kid is an artist.
And I don't care what his sexual preferences are.
I love his 'look' and I love his voice.

IMO another awesome performance tonight. Love him or hate him (obviously I'm a fan  ), he's in a class all by himself compared to the rest of the contestants. Not to say some of them don't have talent, but - snooooze - compared to Adam.

Wow, Adam rocks the house again. As one of the judges said..."I can't wait to find out what you'll do next." This guy not only has a fantastic set of pipes, but that intangible quality...star power.

By the way my other vote for the final two is Kris Allen.

The reason I like him is because you never know what to expect, and he is very entertaining when he hits those unbelievable high notes.

With the rest of them, you already know what they will do. Danny Karaoke will sing something safe, Lil will sing Celine Dion or Whitney Houston, Justin Timberfake (or whatever his name is) will do a piano ballad or a JT-type song, Anoop Doggy Dogg will act like an R&B wanna-be, the blind guy will do a piano bar rendition, and Miss Tattoo will sing a cabaret lounge performance. I think there's another guy but he's easy to forget. The only ones that stand out as having the potential to become really hot artists to me are Adam and Allison, and maybe Justin Timberfake if he can get his own thing going.

They pretty much got to choose their own thing. Adam chose Play That Funky Music by Wild Cherry and did an over-the-top rendition of it.

WOW!!! Another amazing performance!!!! I agree with Kara....you just can't wait to see what he is going to do next!!

I loved Danny too. I tried to look for the cocky thing......I don't see it.

I still have to watch Kris (I was watching the end of the Cavs game).

I love Megan but it's her time to go. I love her voice but she is VERY limited at what she can sing.

I didn't see it tonight either... but he sounded somewhat pitchy on the Rascall Flatts song. I guess the judges didn't hear it. I'm sure things sound different in that building than they do over the TV speakers. Maybe I was hearing wrong... but the guy just doesn't entertain me. I always know what to expect from him, so there are no surprises. But he has a great voice.

Were they getting it on in the boy's room? Simon would have a heyday with that one. I'm sure Friga would too.

I can't wait to hear what Adam is going to do from week to week either. I thought he rocked the house last night and was closley followed by Kris.

The way Adam sings reminds me of Steven Tyler of Aerosmith. Did anyone else think that?

Paula Abdul thinks that. She said it on the show. She said, "Mick Jagger, Steven Tyler, and Adam" Pretty cool compliment.
As I said before, ADAM is going to win the whole thing. No one can touch his style, his voice, his stage presence. That young man
has it going on. The only thing I hate about Adam is when he combs his hair down and to one side. I like it when it is swept back (like Elvis). :D

He's by far the best, but with the voters, it doesn't mean he'll win. He should and I think he probably will, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Regardless of winning the show, I think Kris Allen could be big...like a John Mayer, Jason Mraz, or even Dave Matthews.
I'm sure producers already have his number.

MadSp might be right that in the end the voters may vote for Kris instead even though Adam is the better singer. 8)
