Just got the new Modern Drummer.

Each month they have a section where they list about 20 drummers latest albums and concerts. Studio ace Russ Miller's latest projects are mentioned including the fact that he has just completed Steve Perry's new album. Pretty interesting. What was also cool is my neighbor across the street was in that section last month- he drums for latin star Gloria Trevi.

Now see... this here is a girl who's using her noodle. Hey... The Who lapsed for 24 years on new material, so anything is possible and at the current rate of production, 2014 sounds about right.

I'm optimistic. The man is a perfectionist, so however long it takes to get a top notch product is fine with me. It's the printed inaccuracies like the 'first time in 18 years' that I find annoying.
