They have serious financial issues, and they can't just pull a Rangers, Red Wings or Canucks and go out and pay X amount of dollars for a Zhetterburg, Naslund or Sundin. Gretz has an incredible hockey and business mind. The other problem phoenix has is they haven't been ultra shitty enough to get a high draft pick, like Pittsburgh was a few years back. This year they will end up at the bottom so they can get themselves a stud player.
