Its all LIVE music and its got Journey licence plates all over the cover. They have Open Arms, After The Fall, Faithfully, DSB, Stone In Love, and a bunch more. It was awesome live....and I want it! :D :D

Probably "Greatest Hits Live." It used to be in the jukebox at Old Time Tap, but I played it so much the regulars bitched and they took it out.

LOL....I never seen it at Old Time, but I went to Mugs Bunny last night with Tanis, and we had a blast! That CD is the shizzznit!! The whole bar, all 8 of us...haha...were rockin OUT! :D 8)
So do they even sell it??? Where would I get it? Walmart maybe?? Perry sounded great live...but I must say, I like Arnel a "tad" bit more! *Sorry to all u Perry fanatics*

It's OK. Some people like Hamburger Helper a "tad" bit more than Filet Mignon. (Same kind of comparison). To each their own.

Dont see the same kind of comparision there at all....but whatev. Each to thier own is right! I love Steve Perrys voice....but Arnel brings something new to the band with the same sound. Not bashing Perry at all, obviously...or I wouldnt want to buy it! Im just saying that I like what Arnel brings to Journey, and his voice is simply outta this world!! 8) :)

Cool, it's your opinion. Do you have the live Houston 1981 DVD? If you don't, get it. Listen to Mother, Father. THAT is what a voice sounds like, when it is out of this world. Then go to Youtube and try and find a clip of Arnel singing that song. You won't. Now some here will tell you that they just want to let Deen sing a couple songs. In the Modern Drummer article of a few months ago, Deen is quoted as saying "So far, since Arnel is such a monster vocalist, I've only HAD to sing a couple tunes, but if they need me, I'm there!"

Key word being HAD. Listen, Im thrilled Arnel is singing with Journey and he's does an admirable job. But comparing him to Perry, isn't even fair to him. It's not close.

Your right! Its not "close"...its better!

Oh shit, now I'm definitely breaking out the popcorn.

You ever get that feeling like someone's about to die for something they've said on the internet? :D
'Nothing was bigger for Journey than 1981’s “Escape” album. “I have to attribute that to Jonathan coming in and joining the writing team,” Steve Perry (Feb 2012).'

No...I dont have that CD. You are sounding as if Im "comparing" the two guys. Im really not. YOU are comparing them with all your "statistics"! I even stated that I like Perrys voice or I wouldnt be buying the CD!! Im very satisfied with Arnel being the lead for Journey and you have to give a guy props that has a very STRONG accent and pulls off that kind of voice and when you listen to his vocals, you can BARELY tell he even HAS an accent! Id like to see Perry do that!! He sounds sooo much like Perry to me and this is a guy from a totally different COUNTRY! Perry did his job well, obvioulsy...but hes done now. So what? Kick back and enjoy Journey as a whole! :) 8)

WE'LL SEE.

Very true. Here's a test...play all three Live CDs (from each Live concert with SA, AP and SP) over and over again day in and day out, and you can tell who has the greatest voice (that'd be SP). See, my kid with autism wants them played over & over again & frankly, I'm beginning to get sick of Journey...but, boy can you really hear the major difference. SP's voice is clear & precise. You can't hear any forced air or strain like I can with SA & AP. I'm not dissing the guys & to each his own...but you can definitely tell who ranks at the top.

Well Ive never seen the cover of this album but I want to buy it and dont know where to get it, or if it is still being sold anywhere. So if anyone can help me out on this one, that would be great!

No disrespect PD75, but in a nutshell you are stone freakin deaf

Well, I can only assume by her username that she is maybe a PDiddy fan. Aand if that's the case, she's obviously not used to hearing great singers. He can't sing at all. But it's all opinion, except when it comes to The Voice!

I was gong to say the same thing...much of it is taken from that concert anyway. I bought the KBFH of that concert for $10 years ago...and then another dealer gave me the CD for free when I bought some vinyl....which I gave away to a friend. I much prefer this to GHLive.

The problem is it was not 'clear and precise' when Augeri took over.

No problem...it was just a nickname I was given by a friend...and it stuck with me through the years! 8)
It was my maiden name, and a friend just thought it was easier to call me a shorter version I guess!! Who knows! U would have to ask the source.

True...any good quality boot of that time would.

However, I thought we were talking official releases...that you can go to Wal-mart or Best Buy and purchase.
