LOS ANGELES—Redmond O'Neal is back in custody after deputies say they found drugs on him at a jail security checkpoint.
Los Angeles Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore says O'Neal, the son of actors Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett, was arrested around 9:30 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of a jail facility in Castaic.

O'Neal was apparently at the jail giving a ride to a friend, Whitmore said. A deputy stopped the 24-year-old, who admitted he was carrying drugs, Whitmore said.

He was arrested on suspicion of bringing narcotics into a jail facility and was being held on $25,000 bail.

The arrest was first reported by RadarOnline.com. O'Neal's attorney did not immediately return a phone message seeking comment.

Farrah's time is coming to an end. The doctors have pretty much ended her treatments. It's all about keeping her comfortable now that she is bedridden. She will have a self made documentery aired on May 15 on NBC.
