I think so, too. They really should have two winners on the show. I wasn't too sure about Adam's song tonight (I still think Ring of Fire was the best), but I listened again and I do like it. He did seem to run out of air a few places, but it did have a blue/melancholy tone that worked. Had to look up the original song since I wasn't sure what it was.

I loved Dr. Doolittle when I was a kid.

Adam is controversial. That's what makes him unique. I knew that some people wouldn't like his performance tonight, but many people liked it. Even Simon liked it, and he's picky.

I'll bet he will go much farther as an artist than anyone on the show except for possibly Allison. Goakey is okay, but he's Easy Listening music. Adam will become a rocker like Billy Idol, David Bowie or Freddie Mercury. The music industry is not putting out that type of artist anymore. He's a rarity.
