Jss and Neal Schon

Postby perryswoman » Mon Apr 13, 2009 6:12 am

I know I know they aren't together anymore in Soul Sirkus but man I wish I could have seen them. I saw Jss in the Journey tour and he was hot. I love his carisma and they footage on his website on soul sirkus and purple rain is jamming. I just really like the way he and neal sound together not necessarily in Jouney but definitely in Soul Sirkus. Sad the way Neal and co treated him and if they would have handled the letting go in a decent way, JSS and Neal could still be jamming in Soul Sirkus!!

I think Soul Sirkus didn't because they were losing and shit load of money.

I absolutely love that video from a Soul Sirkus show of Purple Rain/Faithfully, both beautiful songs and that medley of them together, as well as JSS alone on keys and singing at the beginning, is stunning to me.

Do we have any perverts in the audience??  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPja-p4wors

What the heck is wrong with those people in the front though, there at Shepards Bush? Not one head or pair of shoulders moving at all???? :?

LOL! Yep, that one is great too! Some dirty lyrics in that one  but that's what makes it awesome

I agree, how can anyone stand still for that? LOL. They need you and I and all the other chicas to show them the way

Going to play that Purple Rain/Faithfully for the co-workers now, they usually love whatever I play and ask me to play more, they call it "Melissa's music", LOL! Haven't seen it in ages too, this should be cool, lol. I'll report back if they like it

Wait... I think I saw an arm and someone else's head moving (or it could have been a twitch).

Unfortunately, to me, Soul SirkUS live is much better than on recording. I admit to not playing that one in a really long time, but remember having a blast when I saw their show. :::shrug:::

Oh, and for the record, after seeing this video, Deb, I don't think I'm digging Jeff w/ the straight hair. It's been a while since I've seen his hair like this, but it just looks wrong on him to me now. [Besides, since men seem to have a :::eh, hem::: difficulty later in life (if ya know what I mean -- no, not that, get your minds out of the gutter! ), I think curls help hide any "thinning" that may occur later. And, that's all I'm sayin'. 8) ]

I agree 100% with Debbie. Soul Sirkus Live was GREAT,, the cd itself was plain boring.
Id rather shave my balls with an old rusty soup can lid than listen to that cd again. If you didnt catch Soul Sirkus live, you totally missed a hell of a performance. The energy and stage presence from ALL members was just out of this world.

wtfluff? why go if you are not going to ROCK!!! sheesh...

that is my favorite song from that cd so give me my perv sign. Actually, it's the proggie rock factor in that song that gets me--mixed meter, complicated rhythm and all that kinda schutt. Vocals are secondary, afterall.

HOWEVER, that much mojo at one time can send the chicas whirling. dangit. MM, JSS and NS. dangit

According to my husband, he thinks it's not cool to move, at all, during a show. He says that you need to stand there and, these are his exact words, "let the music wash over you." WTF? I'm sorry, I just can't do that. So, yes, my husband was quite irritated with me while were at an Iron Maiden tribute band's show (and they were so damned good, too!).
