Journey at Moondance

Finally, I've been hoping for this one. Looks like Journey bumped Sheryl Crowe for the headlining spot on Thursday. :D

A great line-up this year.

Just ran the story on my site.

Journey is a great addition, I hope to see lots of MR members at this year's festival!

Whaaat, camping is the best, Fu Manchu. Maybe one of these years our MR travels will take us all camping. You can pitch your tent with that wind weenie thing. :D

I never camped as a kid so I think that's why I would never do it...

We have a cabin about 100 miles away from the Moondance site so that's where I usually stay. It can be a long drive but it's worth it for a quiet resting place. 8)

Likewise. Where I am right now is my idea of an adequate tent:

DrFu, I don't know if you heard of a true story about a haunted room at Hotel Del Coronado. You might one to ask one of the hotel clerk about that story, It's very very spooky!!

I saw a story on TV about the Del's ghost(s) a while back. It's a grand old place; opened in 1888, and they've taken really good care of it.

I'm keeping my eyes open, but so far no beaky profiles on the beach or around town and no spirits in the hallways ...

just lots of scary egos ...

 I used to feel the same way, and just a couple weekends ago changed my mind! We went island camping near Canaveral, and my only reservation was the whole potty situation  . But, the awesome husbands fixed up a nice little "potty tent" for us women  and it really wasn't so bad after all! I don't know if I'd feel the same out in the woods though  LOL. I'm an ocean girl, LOVE the water, and we were just feet from dolphins and manatees when in the water. It really was a blast. Nothing like a moonlit sky full of stars, laughing around a campfire with alcohol and SMORES (YUM!) at 1 o'clock in the morning!

 Oh me too, I definitely prefer the ocean front condos we usually stay rather than a tent
