I have absolutely no business insinuating myself into this thread, however, let me say just this one thing: It's very likely that Ms. Chambers never really made a lot of money at this gig. Her MOVIES may have made a lot of money for other people. As an actor, she probably didn't really get paid that much and she probably wasn't getting anything on the back end {if ya no wht I mene}. Certainly not enough to retire and live comfortably.

Cronenberg was too "weird" for mainstream horror cinema, but considering the '70s was the era of experimentation, it's odd that Rabid wasn't more successful. It's creepy as fuck, and Marilyn turns in a pretty good performance. She also never looked better than in this movie.

I didn't mean to offend you with my comment about the mobile home. You're right, you have nothing to be ashamed of if that is the type of home you reside in. What I meant by my statement was that she seemed to have fallen on hard times in her later yrs and I had expected that she lived in a big mansion due to her former success in the industry. It was not my intention to insult you or her. There is nothing wrong with living in any abode be it a mansion, mobile home or cardboard box. Sorry to ruffle your sensitive feathers.
