Loved it too! Had some wicked Axle Rose rock screams goin' on there. :) He totally looks like a mix of Kurt Russell and Elvis.....quite striking. 8)

Agree on Anoop too. Not one of my faves, but for some reason I really liked the tone of his voice tonight.

Aren't Kurt Russell and Elvis already a "mix"? I recall an (then) unknown Kurt Russell actually playing Elvis in his life's movie that came out shortly after he died.

What was with Quentin Tarantino advising the singers? Weird. Anyway, Adam delivered again...definitely gave the audience a show tonight with "Born to be Wild". Pretty sure Lil Rounds is going home next.

Nice clip!
That old geezer can SING!!!!! One of the best voices ever.

I'm off over to YouTube now to see this week's performances. I hate that we don't get the show until Thursday and Friday nights.

Adam Lambert is the best singer the show has ever seen and will be a superstar. Mark that down.

Sometimes youtube clips aren't so good - but at least they give me a taster of the actual show.

So Adam can rock too.

I don't think there is any style this kid cannot do well.

He has "STAR QUALITY" oozing from every pore.

Agreed, Susie. This dude is in a class by himself. If he doesn't win, the fix is in!

But he has to win! He HAS to!
I'm enjoying listening to all of the ones who are left in.
Alison has a great voice for a kid, Danny has a lovely soulful tone, Kris has a good look and a good sound, Anoop's voice is good, the Michael Buble lookalike isn't amazing but he's not bad, Lil can sing too even if she isn't realising her potential.....................but Adam, as you say, in a class by himself.
He can ROCK, he can do musical theatre, he can do country [oh boy can he do country!] he can croon.....he can do everything.

His live shows will not be boring, that's for sure.

And his album should be amazing.
I am impatient to hear it. I hope they get working on it quickly.
Maybe it will be released before Steve Perry's new album?

I saw about 15 seconds of it last night while waiting for a flihght home...it sounded horrible in my opinion....wrong choice of song for him. I agree with what Simon said, either you will love it or hate it... and I would not be surprised if he is in the bottom 3... just one dudes opinion. BTW.. he is star quality and doesnt need to win the competion now to be a huge star. I have loved evrything else he has done.

Daugerty in my opinion, best of the bunch who have not won IDOL, Like the way Bo Bice sang as well.... a southern rock sound for sure... and Kelly and Carrie are best two idols, who have won the contest.

Adam rocked again. I've never been a huge fan of that song, but he put a cool spin on it.

Allison, I love that girl. If they're still doing the Janis Joplin movie, they need to wait until Allison is just a little older. She'd be perfect.

Lil'Rounds-sucked ass last night. And R&B spin on "The Rose"? GMAFB!

Anoop was good. My favorite performance by him though is "Always On My Mind".

Danny was good, but he's just a little "clone-y" for me.

Kris was REALLY shaky on that song, but I thought he did a good job. But isn't that just one of the greatest songs ever?

Matt, well, he was just a little forgetable.

I think Anoop or Lil' will go home tonight.

As far as Lil Rounds putting a different spin on the Rose, although that song fell flat, doing original arrangements is the way to go. A lot of people can imitate and even sing a song better than the original if they keep the same arrangement. That's not so much talent as it is God giving you good vocal cords. Changing the song up and twisting it to your own style, that takes talent. That's what people will appreciate, not professional Karaoke.

Don't bet on it - Taylor Hicks beat Chris Daughtry a few seasons ago. Never underestimate the granny vote. Allison probably has most of them locked up.

I am amazed they saved the guy who looks like Michael Buble!

I hated his warbling this week.

Can I just get a translation, please?

Does sucked ass mean bad?

I think Lil's singing has been a real disappointment.
And Anoop's singing a pleasant surprise.
