I don't like it (at least the timing). They are raining on Steel Panther's parade. That's bullshit.

What's bullshit is ignorant comments from people who don't know dick. Anvil haven't stopped rocking since the early 80s and this movie is an award winning documentary on their tough life-long journey.

Steel Panther may be funny (or lame), but they are a complete piss-take on metal. Anvil ARE metal. And God bless them for that.

I don't like your attitude. Anvil obviously suck since no one has heard of them. Any Tom, Dick, and Harry could've had a hit record in the 80's during that metal scene, but they couldn't? Translation, they blow.

I haven't posted on here for a while, but why don't you give them a listen before making judgements on how much Anvil "sucks". They may not have been the greatest metal band, but they were a damn good one and they are quite passionate in their love for heavy metal. Listen, then decide...

Anvil is a true believer band. They have kept the faith for over 25 years. They never really made that any money, but they kept at it. Tons of band credit them as huge influences. I have a lot more respect for a band that sticks it out than a bunch of players who never made it now making fun of the scene they so desperately wanted to be a part of. Ralph and Russ had plenty of opportunities and none of them stuck. I have seen Steel Panther when they were called Metal Shop and they are good at what they do, but it is purely novelty. Anvil are real classic metal!

they were just on vh1 coutdown this past week doing an interview. I thought it was spinal tap part 2 as well... but worng here. They just never made it huge... love the guys attitude about it, for every few bands that make it HUGE, they are the millions that dont but love to play...was said something to that effect... very down to earth...

Your reply is everything I expected it to be. Utterly clueless and utterly classless. What a surprise.
