The mighty Rainbow - Can't Happen Here.......those were the days

Blackmore made the band more commercial as he was a big fan of Journey believe it or not....

"Death Alley Driver," bitches! Hot shreddin' from Ritchie on that one. I wish they'd shown more of Dave Rosenthal's synth solo, though.

While watching I remember the incident from around this time (earlier?) where Eddie VH finally went up to Ritchie to shake his hand, and when Ritchie saw him, he told him "Fuck you!"

The Dio-Rainbow era will always be my favorite but JLT-era's right behind. Badass rock!

heyy i got the Live between the eyes dvd! all this videos and live performance with JLT are there..i think i will have to watch it again now..thanks!
with Joe in the band Rainbow took a more commercial direction, wich was good, altough i love Dio, nobody like him, JLT is an amazing singer, very underrated, with him some great album born for Rainbow

I remember i read in an interview were JLT say that Blackmore told him they after him all they got the chance to get laid each day haha that shows how JLT help the band have another sound, brought other audience to their music and girls too, JLT is his time was very good looking man

All Rainbow is cool. Those were def the days. Early 80's, cruisin' and Rainbow (and Journey) on the radio.
