I don't think I would go that far. But I was much more impressed with him at first. I still think he is good but sometimes it just sounds screeching to me.

I much prefer Danny's voice. It is smooth and soulful.

2:52 - 2:57 Holy shit. And he sounds just like Steve Perry there.

um - no. I'm definitely an Adam fan, but not hearing that at all.

Adam will probably win. He is the one who has the biggest buzz going on. Plus, he actually has the goods too. I'm sure Clive Davis will be on him like flies on shit with a limo waiting at the door the moment he exits the show.

Yeah I think Adam was very screechy this week.
He doesn't need to do all that show off stuff. His voice is great without that.

My top three have always been Adam, Danny and Alison.
But I'm thinking that little Kris could sneak in and take the title by stealth. And I fear that Alison isn't getting the huge votes that she deserves. Which is such a shame.

Danny has the voice, but does he have the look?

I usually hate the group number and this week's is on my telly now and I'm rather enjoying it! I think they all sang their bits really well this week. And their dancing was quite good too!

Disagree. This guy has star power and will have great success as a professional singer. From what I've read, Clay Aiken has had much success and his shows are packed.

Sounds like you're jealous. Clay Aiken has sold millions of records, has millions of dollars and has been very successful, and even found time to suck a few cocks along the way, I'm sure.

Take your homophobic bullshit and shove it up your ass, but try not to like it. That goes for all you homophobes.

Jealous? Doubt it. Cocksmokers have NOTHING I want.

He's a no talant cocksmoker that will be another AI hasbeen.

Aiken's not even selling records anymore...he's pimping himself off broadway...I dunno. Seems to me if I had a successful career selling and touring, I wouldn't hole up in a broadway gig....but that's just me.

I was pleasantly surprised with everyone this week. Never would have pegged Jaimie Foxx as the mentor for old standards week, but, I guess it works. Danny and Adam were my favs this week.

Freddie Mercury, Rob Halford and Elton John are all gay and I think they rock. They don't threaten my manhood or my sexuality. I could never sign on with the Jerry Falwell crowd. I could give a fuck what people do in their bedrooms. When I listen to a Judas Priest song it doesn't make me want to smoke any pole at all.

Allyson was the only good performance tonight. The other 4 were horrible and their renditions of the songs they did were horrendous.

Adam is phenomenal... best American Idol contestant.... EVER....

He's like Robert Plant, Thom Yorke, Matthew Bellamy, Steven Tyler, and Freddie Mercury thrown into one sultry pot of stewing talent.

Adam sang New Dawn, New Day (not sure if that is actually the title) and I have to admit I've already forgotten Allison's song - I'm sure it'll come to me, it was something very well known.

Edit - Allison - Someone To Watch Over Me
