No sarcasm at all actually. I really do prefer Revelation and FTLOSM right now. Cracking albums. And I love the deeper richness in Perry's voice.

Escape is obviously a classic album for all time - and I'll never stop considering it as such. But I'm just a little over it at the moment. I like the freshness of Revelation and think the songs are just terrific for what I need right now.

I was just teasing ya, a little. I don't argue anyones music preferences...thats all individual tastes... and everyones tastes change over time and they make adjustments to their preferences. Personally, I like a wide variety of music..from classical to some heavy metal and many types between.....there's more than enough music around to please everybody. The only people I don't get are ones who say they don't like music. Bunch of weirdo's, that lot.  8)

Let's try this analogy Stevew2. Escape is your main squeeze, great tasting and all that but sometimes monotonous. You go out and there you see Revelation, standing at the bar looking fresh. You know she's a floozy but some times you want to try some taco instead of steak. You know the jewelry she s wearing is cubic zirconia but after a few beers it looks as good as the genuine stuff. So you wolf down the taco and it hits the spot. You know it's a one night stand and won't last long but sometimes you need a little bit of variety in the menu no matter how cheap. Besides, in the end you' know that you'll be back home with the Filet mignon again sooner or later.
