OT - Referees swallowing the whistles late in games

Postby S2M » Mon Apr 27, 2009 5:44 am

NBA refs are a joke....Watching the Celts-Bulls game....Celts are getting raped down low. Nothing is called. It used to be no calls in hockey in the 3rd period. That has somewhat changed in recent years. The NBA has picked up where hockey has left off. Who produces these games, Simon Fuller?

Bulls are lucky KG is hurt, and we are just lucky enough that we have Ray Allen.

This is an awesome game. NBA officiating is iffy a lot of the time, but that non-call on Hinrich earlier could have meant the game for the Bulls, so it's going both ways... usually does.

Funny thing is...if KG was in this series it would have been a 4 game sweep by 20+ every game....

I would certainly hope so, considering the Bulls were .500 and the Celtics were in the 60+ club . I'm sure as a Boston fan you're frustrated as hell, but for me it's just great sport and I'm lovin it.

Who's cryin'? NFL got lucky last year when Brady was out....and NBA teams are lucky this year cause KG and Powe are out for the playoffs.

More games, more $$$$....the league isn't stupid. And neither is David Stern.

I was just about to reply before this foul on Pierce and say that some youthful mistakes on the Bulls' end have kept the C's in this game as long as they have been. It ain't over yet. 2 point game now

And that was a steal by Pierce, though out of bounds.....league needs new blood on the ref side.

Any sports fan knows the NBA is rigged and the finals are already determined. Bet your ass, you wife's snatch and your bank acct that it will be Cleveland v Lakers. Yawn.

Pierce goes to the free throw line ONCE from the 4th quarter on? He was fouled no less than 4 times since....Deano is right. The fix is in.

You guys are both idiots. You think last year was fixed too because they wanted Cs v Lakers? Or does it only apply when it's not your team?

Regardless, Chicago stares in your general direction and simply says... "Booyah!"

Hawks win, Bulls win, and presently, the Cubs are beating up STL. Its a good day in my town. 8)

No..I just happen to live in one of the top 2 sports areas of the country. Red Sox '04, and '07 champs. Patriots 3 SB victories. Celtics won last year. Bruins will win this year.

Can't help it that others live in sports ghettos.

And don't think for a second that the league would welcome a New Orleans - Chicago final? Can you say ratings disaster?

It's all about Cleveland, Boston, and L.A.....belee dat!

DING DING DING!!! I don't understand why some people only want to see certain teams in the finals of any sport. Celtics, Red Sox, Yankees, Lakers, Steelers, Patriots.....

I guess they don't know that 80% of the country doesn't like these teams and would like to see other teams play sometimes!!

That one trade made Joe Dumars look dumber than all of the Phil Savage blunders w/ the Browns. Wow.
