Thanks, I'll check that link out later, can't view youtubes at work. I like both sides of his vocals. Lyrically, I think he's better solo.......seems to delve deeper and sometimes quite funny. But also love the rockin' mix of Eric, Billy, Paul and Pat musically. Especially on some of the more bluesy/R&B songs like Merciless, Voodoo Kiss, Big Love, Where Do I Fit In, etc. LOL, I guess what I'm saying is, I'll take them smokey vocals anyway I can get em.
