He picked prostitutes 'cause they'd come to him, might be carrying cash, and might not call the police afterward.

As for online romance, I'd say meet them the first time in a very public place and, for heaven's sake, don't go anywhere alone with them for awhile.

He went to their hotel locations.

Semantics? :? They agreed to meet him didn't they? That's what I meant by "come to him", I think.

Go to your state's sex offender website and put in your zip code. You might be shocked to see who is staring back at you in some of those photos.

That's true, but maybe that happen when we are so busy with ourselfs that we don't care who or what happen with the other, seem to me that there is a lack of depth in the social bonds, that start in the family.....many psychopathics structures found a shelter in this, and defy society with their behavior right in the front of our noses...who remember this face?

The only thing that is garbage is your uninformed opinion. It's a virtual newspaper/classifieds.

Yep and the cause of a murder
Prostitution is illegal but its all over craigslist
You watch and see if there is not a lawsuit

Just as many escorts have been killed by taking out ads in the local independent newspapers that have all the sex ads.

Don't see these types of papers anymore cause of CL

Do you even know what Craigslist is? And it didn't cause a murder, a person did. that is an excuse to place blame

Not sure of that picture...is that the guy who held his daughter hostage as a sex slave and fathered kids by her?

I found out last week from the IN sex register that there's a registered sex offender living on the floor above me. Last I heard, my grandniece was living with a sex offender twice her age (she was fifteen or sixteen).

Yep, I know there's a lot of pervs out there! :?

According to my niece, she's living with him and she was pregnant with his kid. Think my grandniece was emancipated. And that would be her second kid...her mother took charge of her first baby.

So is he a s/o because of your niece or was already one prior to?

Think he was a sex offender prior to meeting my grandniece (one of the reasons my niece didn't like him).

I've got plenty of relatives and some of the stories I've been told by them and about them would make a very tacky novel!

Wow, with this story of yours, you've just made my childhood family seem flawless.

Craigslist provides a good service mostly free of charge
It can't be repsonsible for the acts of deviants who abuse it.
It is unfortunate that these deviants are everywhere in our society.
They are our neighbors or our ch8ildrens teachers
no one is safe
ever
we are at the fate of chance
hoping we beat the odds

well if they were married it would be legal. Looks like America isn't really concerned with minors having sex, but rather minors having sex outside of marriage

Ehwmatt wrote:Anybody following this story? I'm always fascinated by this kinda shit, and this is shaping up to be just as crazy as some of the past monsters we've seen. Eerily resembles Ted Bundy's case. A good looking guy with seemingly everything going for him, a bright future as a doctor (Bundy was at one time a law student), a fiancee yet got his rocks off preying on vulnerable women and had a hauntingly dark side to him. I'll be shocked if there aren't more victims by the time this is all unraveled. If there aren't, then boy are we lucky they caught him at this stage of the game. Guy woulda been the next BTK or Ted Bundy for sure.

Follow-up: Killer kept mementos from victims: http://www.bild.de/BILD/news/bild-engli ... phies.html

Truly chilling. It's always the guy who "looks/seems like a nice guy" and "not capable of those horrible things."

Well, according to recent developments, looks like our boy wasn't just preying on "vulnerable women"...he apparently like to spread the love around. Boy! You think you know a person...
