Just got the studio version of "Feelin' Good" by Adam and it is simply amazing.

That last few notes reminds me of some of Steve Perry's acrobats, especially on "Somethin' To Hide".

The week before Adam hit notes that reminded me of Perry in Sweet & Simple.

I think Adam will really shine on Rock Week. I can't wait to hear it. He should be safe afterwards unless he really bombs, because rock is definitely his genre.

That was close...Adam almost being sent home! Think I'm gonna vote next week to make sure he stays. Alison looked shocked that she wasn't in the bottom 3.

I think that Simon is doing some manipulating. I think that he knows that when he tools on an obviously good vocalist as he did Allison on Tues, the people will show him how wrong they think he is. I got kinda sick of Adams bar pole act and I think that Simon sees it also. He's a one-trick-pony with no growth potential but Allison will grow into a memorable vocalist. She is such a natural. Both Cris and Danny sing with an affected style in my opinion.

Adam was never in jeopardy of going home(although he should). It all fixed for ratings people. When will it seep in?!

Adam is a one-genre singer. At that genre is theatre. He has no business being in this competition. Plain and simple.

 He's the best singer ever on the show. Doesn't mean he'll win, because that's up to the 13-16 year olds that do most if the voting.

He'll be a star either way.

Have to agree with you here. Adam has Mad (no pun intended) skills. People don't like him because; 1. Hes gay or 2. He " shrieks". Where have I heard that one before. This guy has talent, Period!

Adam is perfect for Musical theatre. Said that from day one. He can rock, but I still think Musical Theatre/Broadway/London West End/Vegas production show is where he will shine best.

My top three from day one were Adam, Danny and Alison. SO glad they are still in the contest.
I loved Alison again this week. In fact I have loved her every week.
I was worried that the voters would let Alison go - but I think Simon manipulated them into voting for her because he realises she is worthy of staying in and knows that she deserved more votes. He is a crafty one that Simon.

Danny's vocals this week gave me goosebumps.

Adam - OMG I saw his sticky out tongue for the first time this week and bleurch! I thought he was a bit screechy again.

I still think that Kris could sneak into the final.

And I think the decision to let Matt go was the right one.

That Adam was standing next to Matt shocked me for a moment because I thought two were being eliminated this week, then when I remembered it was only one, I realised it was just a tactic by the Producers to inject more tension. But they had me there for a moment.

I finally got around to watching the rat pack show. Two things struck me. If Adam came on dressed as a drag queen his voice wouldn't sound out of place. Allison sings an H sound in front of every word that starts with a vowel e.g Someone to Watch Hover me. Very irritating.

Duncan, that's hilarious. I've noticed that Allison does it on L words too.

I think Adam's voice fits him perfectly, in drag or out. I've also noticed he has no break between full voice and falsetto. That's pretty amazing.

She also doesn't quite 'finish off' some words. I mentioned that earlier in this thread somewhere - I think she's a fine singer but it is starting to irritate me too.

I noticed that, too. It seems to be quite common among younger female vocalists lately. I don't know if that's supposed to be some sort of "style", or if it's just plain laziness. I cannot imagine any vocal coach allowing them to get away with "cheating" the words like that. It's just bad form if you ask me and it does a disservice to the song.

So we have Adam sticking out his tongue when he sings, Danny being cocky, and now Alison putting an 'H' in front of every word. ha ha ha, do you think we may be scrutinising them a bit too much?

I didn't notice ANY of these things until they were pointed out on here but now I do!

What does Kris' do? we cannot leave him out.

I think all four have great voices and their own different star quality.

I actually don't mind which one of them wins now.

Just glad to know that my judging abilities are in line with 46 million voters.
Adam Danny and Alison were my top three from the start. I am going to pat myself on the back now.

still think that 'stealth Kris' might sneak in and take the title though. And I have to admit, I didn't spot him from the start. At least I'm honest!

Honestly, I think some vocal coach somewhere has told them to do that to keep their throats relaxed. Forming an L sound is a little more strenuous than an H sound. Not that I'm defending it, but if it helps save a vocal chord here and there, it might be worth it, but maybe just finding a way to do it a little less extreme.

I mean we all know Perry did the open throat opera type thing on a lot of notes to try and help his longevity. And many other singers incorporate tricks to keep the vocals up and hot.

Kris sings out of the side of his mouth and on high/loud notes he really juts his jaw to one side. It's NOT very attractive. LOL
