I hope that comes true, but with Van's stats, esp. looking at Luongo vs. Hobby... I'm jittery.
And one of those blasted twins has 4 goals on Chicago in 4 games this season. This is going to be a battle royale.

If Chicago is going to win one, they will likely do it tonight. The hardest game to win is the first home game back from a road trip/break. Vancouver has been off forever, and practice is not the same as game speed. Having said that, Bobby Lu has got to be in the heads of Havlat, Kane and Toews.

Vancouver got Taylor Pyatt back, who was gone for a couple weeks after his girlfriend was killed in a car accident. Add him and the Burrows/Twin line, and I can't see anyone slowing down Burrows and the Twins.

Boston

...Offense (check!), Defense (check!), Goaltending (check!). This is the easiest series for me to call. Staal and his open lanes are no more with that Goliath Chara around.

Pittsburgh

...Fleury has been slowly rounding himself into one of the better goalies in the league after years of trying to live up to the hype. Varlamov's inexperience should be exposed this round, as the Caps are playing against a more powerful offense than the Rangers now.

Detroit

...Hard to bet against the reigning champs. Unlike the Sharks, these fuckers can score. Second round in a row the Wings get a rookie goalie. Unless your name is Roy, that's usually not a good thing.

Chicago

...Toews & Kane > the marshmallow twins

Not quite. They were down 3-0, Kane blasted the first two in, and Bolland tied it up. :D

When the 'Nucks were up 3-zip I knew things were too good to be true. I had that sick feeling that Chicago would claw their way back and they did. That goal with a minute left was just another example of the pure bravado and magic that is Vancouver hockey this season.

I take the 'Nucks in five. Nearly letting this one slip was the wake-up call Vancouver needed and they'll bash their way back to superiority in no time.

Agreed. Piece of shit. I would levy a 100,000 dollar fine. That could have ended a good players career. Cheap. But what do you expect, it's a Duck player, the cheapest piece of shit team there is in the NHL. I hope that kid is alright, and I really hope Anaheim loses the next four games. I picked ANA but would gladly hope they lose because they are so chickenshit.

It would have been clean had it happened 3 seconds earlier!

Hudler is back on the bench. He's a tough player, he'll probably score the game winner!

It's not gonna get any better for you with Brown's imminent suspension. He'll get what Brashear got. Which means his season's over! Hopefully Rafalski will be healty for game 2. Should be easier with half of our top defense pairing back! :D
The Yucks are an embarrassment to the league. Just finished 4 clean games with Columbus and can't get through 1 period without a nasty cheap shot. Wings in 5.

Correction, Brown is only gone for the series I believe. But they aren't going to win the series anyway.

I told you Scott, Anaheim is a cheap shit club. Yea, they have some solid guys, like Ryan, Selanne and Neidemayer, but they also have the assholes like Pronger and Brown and Perry.

Justice served. That horseshit penalty cost them a goal and ultimately the game. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

brown is hardly the devil. if that hit was on a duck you would give a rat's ass.

not trying to justify the hit... just don't think it's as bad as it looked or some are making it out to be. i have seen WAY worse.

My point is Brown will get 5 games minimum. The Yucks may win game 3 ONLY. That equals him being done for the year.

Sybil, I predicted the winners in all four games. Fuck you are completely off the reservation. I picked ANA to beat DET but not VAN or CHI.

Go ahead, put it up on the fridge, I could give a turtle's dick. You are gone, way fucking gone.
