This is a fucked up poll...Street Talk is Perry's best by far...ROR was an abortion in a sense, it wasn't a Journey album, it was Perry's swan song to everything...And I will never get over the letting go of Smith and Ross, WTF?!?!? Don't call it Journey, call it Steve Perry's ego trip....Now, I think there are some great cuts on ROR, but it's not a well rounded record...Street Talk is moreso, to me. a complete album, in execution. I think it has something to do with the original intent of the album ( a separate project from Journey) and the personnel involved (Randy Goodrum, Michael Landau, Larry Londin).

Well so far that's 11-1 in favor of ROR. This trend is telling me ROR will keep getting the votes, and ST won't get many votes at all. It will also give a good indication what the masses feel here. ROR might be considered Journey's worst work, but yet it's still better than Steve Perry's best solo effort according the MR members.

Sorry to get off topic here, but I really had a song by the Eagles that I liked back in the day. It was called:

Get Over It!!!!

ROR was a 10x better album than Street Talk

Would like to see a poll on Street Talk vs FTLOSM to be honest. Probably already been done though.

ROR blows Street Talk outta the water.

Tough choice; I really like Street Talk, but Raised On Radio has such great songs. Regardless of its history, and its 'poppy' tendencies, it is glistening with melody. If I could only keep one of these two albums, it would have to be ROR. I'd really like to keep both though.

ROR.

Now if it was FTLOSM vs. ROR, I would have to get out the CDs and do some thorough evaluating!

Love "Go Away". Always thought the chorus was a little hokey, but the rest of the song is wonderful.

For GREAT songs I have to pick ROR as GCI, Suz, and IBAWI are standout tracks. But as a fluid album, ST wins. ROR has some really slow and too long stuff in there. Those end tracks run together (too similar).

ST has a decent variety. Plus its a great drive album. Hell I'm gonna play it right now.

lol...yeah, ok. I listened to it when I went to Ohio a few months ago and almost went off the road because I fell asleep. The music is just garbage and Perry has quite a few shit songs on there. Meandering shit that just goes nowhere.

Yeah, our hangovers were just as fucking bad. We stayed in the hotel room and watched Step Brothers. The movie was fucking great, but it hurt like a motherfucker to laugh and I felt like I was gonna puke every time I did. Man, that was quite an exhibition we put on.
