Yes I am an old guy and SHOWING it here but these guys were one of the most underrated groups of ALL TIME. This past weekend they got the original guys back together Richie Furay...Jim Messina...and Timothy B Schmit to go with Rusty Young and drummer George Grantham...who sang for the first time since having a stroke onstage in 2005....Messina and Timothy B hadn't performed with the group for over 30 years.....shit this stuff CAN be done!

hit the HQ icon and the full screen thing next to it....

There are some days when I just have to put on the my Poco/Pure Prairie League/Firefall playlist and crack open some beers. Just great music.

I remember Henley saying the Eagles always wanted to be Poco...

I love these guys, I agree with GB, great drinking songs too for a realxing summer day or a vacation. This song is one of my favorites and pretty accessible for MR fans:

"Call It Love"

Edit: Really a better way to hear this song before watching a lo-fi live vid...

That's the newest project of David Foster's, Charice the little Filipina ShoutBox. She might be the next big thing if Foster promotes her properly. Look for Opra Winfrey and company to have massive givaways of this girl's album to create more buzz when it releases.
She will have quite a bit of star power behind her when she begins to roll. She has already become affiliated with Itunes which will be a plus for her in the near future.

Little known fact, Pure Prairie League did a song called Jerene......my birth name though spelled differently.
Makes me smile. :)

I have a great album by Ritchie Furay called I Still Have Dreams. I can highly recommend it to any fans of the Poco/Firefall type sound.

Wow, what a reunion ... awesome!

Love Poco ... guy I dated in college turned me on to them and Bob Welch ... he turned out to be a drug-dealing bad guy, but he had great taste in music. :D

Last time I saw them live, they were performing in a parking lot in Destin, FL ... opening a mall or something ... weird venue but great music on a hot summer night.

Poco are pretty cool, the way it should be done, for sure - true musicians there.

And Little River Bands harmonies, oh just brilliance! just great stuff there. Lonesome Loser "Streams Of Success (Live Album) (Disc 2)" Wayne Nelson on lead vocals, amazing.

I mentioned Poco on another thread a few days ago...they were playing Poco on "Bones" and it reminded me how pure I thought the harmonies were.
