OT: Drew Petersen arrested

Finally! The reports are saying that this could be for the murder of his 3rd wife, Kathleen, not for the disappearance of his 4th wife, Stacy.

I hadn't heard this yet! FINALLY! The last I heard about him this morning on the news was that he was going to go meet with the owner of The Bunny Ranch in Nevada about working security there. I wonder if this is why they moved on him all of a sudden (because they've had how long to arrest him, already? jeesh), to arrest him and keep him on bond, therefore unable to leave the state.

I had a breakfast meeting for work this morning, and one of my coworkers said he heard about that on the drive in. I thought the same thing as you did about the timing. I really wish they could find Stacy's body so her family has some closure.

The grand jury's not done with him yet. They're looking at adding additional charges in the disappearance of Stacy. What a sleezeball.

Yeah, isn't it? I thought that when this story broke.
I can't believe this has gone on for over a year and a half.

And being a local story, we've heard it nonstop here.

I think there is something mental going on here . He really thought he was safe. Maybe psyciopath with being delusionial. The bigger they think they are the harder they fall into a police net.

He figured his cop connections would keep him out of trouble and he'd have nothing to worry about. He was wrong. He's in the same league around these parts as Blagojevich, as in no one wants to hear it, no one buys his stories, no one can stand his arrogance, and we just want him to go down.

CNN.com wrote:(CNN) -- Drew Peterson, the former police sergeant who authorities call the prime suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, has been indicted on murder charges related to his third wife, Kathleen Savio, the Illinois state attorney's office said.

Drew Peterson was arrested Thursday on murder charges relating to his third wife, Kathleen Savio.

Illinois State Police said Peterson was taken into custody about 5:30 p.m. Thursday after a traffic stop near his home.

Police had staked out his home all day, said police Capt. Carl Dobrich, but waited for Peterson to leave to arrest him out of concern for his three children, who were inside the house.

Peterson, through his attorney, denied any wrongdoing in either case.

Wills County State's Attorney James Glasgow said he believes the case is strong and said Peterson is being held on $20 million bond.

"This is an extremely grave and serious matter and it is reflected in the bond," Glasgow said.

Peterson's attorney Joel Brodsky told CNN's Larry King he believed the bond was excessive and would seek a more "reasonable" bond, noting it was the most expensive bond he'd seen in 10 years.

Let the prison rapists get in line and take a number. This son-of-a-bitch is finally going to get fucked, and it's well-deserved. There is a god.
