Someone mentioned HLS recently on a music thread.

Well, here's what he's been up to lately.

I have met this guy many times. Cool fella. Back right when his album broke he was playing Louisville, Ky a lot and was popular in Louisville before he hit it big.. Sad to hear he has a meth problem. Geesh what a stupid drug.. Cant people just smoke a doob and be happy if they want to do drugs ?

I have been a fan for a long time and have had the honor of meeting him several times. He is one of those artist who is VERY under rated. I hope the best for him.

Yep, that IS sad. :( Love his voice, one of my favorites of his..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiDKn2vz ... re=related ( yep, there's a pattern, give me smokey emotive vocals over crystal clear highs anyday)

Hate to hear about celebs getting caught up in Meth, such bad shite. Hope he gets help for it. Look at that picture of him in the article.....holy crap!

I spent many a night at the Bluebird in Bloomington watching Henry Lee...he always seemed to be "on the edge" a bit...sad though.

This is sad news. I am a huge fan and have even considered heading out to Indiana for one of his New Year's bashes. But he obviously needs help. First drunk driving and now this!

Sad to hear this. I liked Henry Lee Summer. When I listen to his song "I Wish I Had A Girl" he kinda sounds like Steve during ROR years. Same sorta vocals.
