That'll be great, but it will HAVE to be Deen. Arnel can't touch that song. No way. He'll end up off on the side of the stage, having a coughing attack.
I agree.
Perry's voice had too much rasp for Arnel's still very clear tenor to sing now.
LOL

What's funny about that to ya, Jana? Too much rasp, too much control, too much emotion, to much texture, too much power? Which one? All of those for SP, are things Arnel can't now and can never be able to do 1/10th as well.
Oh, and too much clarity of being able to speak the language and use diction that I can understand.
There's Perry and there's Perry-Lite.
It was a funny comeback by Saint John to your stupid remark about Arnel having a coughing attack on the side of the stage.
I am a huge Perry fan and believe his voice is one of the best voices ever, and my personal favorite singer. I never tire of listening to him. So I don't need a lecture from you putting down Arnel. Arnel is doing a magnificant job. I don't need to put down Perry to elevate Arnel, like you seem to feel the need to do with a few digs regarding Arnel. I never said he was as good as Perry. But Arnel is a fantastic singer and performer and there is a renewed energy with Journey and Neal is still amazing on stage, the whole band is. I'm enjoying it.
Okay. Go back to your bitter self and grab the pom-poms and start chanting, Perry, Perry, Perry.

For me, it's not a contest. I'm enjoying Journey with Arnel. Neal Schon is on fire right now. If Perry releases a solo CD, I'll enjoy that too and see him in concert if he tours.
