That voice was unlike anything we ever had heard, ever. The soundcheck was jaw droping and I remember my mom (who sang professional herself) was in awe as we all were. That singer's name was Steve Perry. Eight months into their first album (INFINITY) that question was raised and it changed the way i felt about Steve Perry, a little. Of course years later, we know he is not gay and who cares anyway if he is. But it can change your attitude or feeling towards your hero somewhat. Why, i don't really know, but it can.

My favorite gay rumor floating around right now is Vin Diesel. I mean seriously, I don't care how accepting you are, wouldn't that change your perception of Vin at least a little?

Oh shit no. I'd be on the next bus to Hollywood looking for Vin and some good times. LOL! (just kidding) *a little*

I don't care for him anyway, so it wouldn't make any difference.

My perception of Rob Halford didn't change. I didn't burn all my Judas Priest CD's when I found out he was gay. I could care less.

The only perceptions of people that would be changed for me is when religious hypocrites who preach against gayness end up being exposed as closet gays. The ones who preach against it the most seem to be the ones who end up getting caught having gay affairs in hotel rooms with male escorts. What's up with that?

A-Men! The studies show those men that are most opposed to homosexuals are the most curious. I don't think that's always 100% true, but I'm from a VERY small town in the south and let me tell you, when I came out, all kinds of husbands and boyfriends started chatting me up wanting to "find out what it was like", but always said, "now don't tell anyone". LOL

I never gave them the pleasure, well, okay, maybe one or two, but I was 17, give me a break. LMAO! ;-)

Thanks Squirt1. I'll do that. And I'm sorry if I stereotyped anyone. I hate that when it's done to me, so my apologies.

I had a couple of bosses when I was in my teens at restaurants who were homphobes. They both had to point out the gays every time they came in and acted freaked out by gay people. Guess what - yep - they both came out later on.

Uh-oh, StevieW2 makes gay jokes an awwfullllllll lot on here and is consumed with Friga's sexuality. Should we read something into that?

Nothing to read into...I talked to him last night, and he fully admitted to liking meat popsicles! He also said he just got some crabs.   Ask him, he'll tell you!
