Me too, people didn't even give the Pens a shot at the playoffs, let a alone going back to the Conference Finals. I would argue all the time that the Pens have too much talent and that talent alone could take them back, so it's nice for them to back me up with my words, and not make me look like an idiot. :lol: I say bring it. Detroit is a scary team that we might not be able to hang with (again) but I would love another shot at their asses since we lost to them last year, and since we are a young team that knows who beat them last year in the finals. I can see us taken it to them this year since the revenge card can take a team to new heights. Seems an eternity away though, Carolina is going to be probably the toughest yet. It's anyone's game.

Anyone can talk all they want.. it's easy to talk as a Detroit fan because they won the Cup the last 25 fuckin' years for Christ sake, and they deserve to talk. Someone needs to take down Goliath. The Pens are on a mission and Pittsburgh is WAYYY overdue to bringing lord Stanley back to Pittsburgh. We almost brought it home last year, and if we make it this year, I don't see us losing. This team is too determined, young, and talented to let another slip away, esp. a 2nd shot for the 2nd straight year at the Cup.

Everyone forgets that there is another Round to play before we even sniff Lord Stanley. I'm not over looking one bit.

We had ours...what 17 years ago? 48 years/17 years it doesn't matter. Who's counting anymore. Point is, both clubs are LONG overdue to bring in a Championship, but Pittsburgh has a higher standard from their sports teams as does teams from Chicago, and Chicago is a pretty damn sports city that highly demands. 17 years to Pittsburgh is doubled that of 48 for Chicago. It's just the way we think here. Sports is a way of life.
