Anybody else have tix to see them? My brother bought VIP tix and flew out to Vancouver for tonight's show (little ballroom that fits around 900 people). Was going to go too, but I didn't, now I'm bummed. :(

Yep....Saloon, lol I like that. Ya, not crazy on the name either. My little brother is a major Sammy fan too, and Satch too I guess. Not sure what the VIP tix include (they get in an hour before anybody else), but I hope he comes back saying he got to meet Sammy, I would be thrilled for him.

"The driving sound was enough. It went straight up the little girls’ vaginas, had them screaming in ecstasy as the boys pumped their fists in the air, enthralled."

"Sometimes we need something that speaks to our nuts! You can talk to a girl all night, but that’s not going to bring you to orgasm. At some point you’ve got to take off your pants, she’s got to stroke your dick, you’ve got to go inside. It’s music like this that makes you hard. Allows you to fantasize and become erect!"

This is why bands like AC/DC , Metallica and yes, even those pretty boys Bon Jovi are still successful. They play (or played) music that can get you laid. None of that sensitive "Am I hurting you?" type of sap but more of the " Oh yeah, you like that don't cha?" type of boot knocking music.

LOL true, romance and ballads are GREAT, but sometimes an intense animalistic screw up against the wall is in order too. LOL did I just actually type that out loud?!

that sounds like the chickenfoot fan club package. usually early entry means minutes or even seconds before doors open to the regular ticket holders.

He said 45 minutes to an hour. Not sure where he got that from, but I'll phone him when he gets back Sunday night, or I may even end up getting a hammered concert call later on tonight.

Love the title  Will have to check it all out, I love Sammy Hagar and Hagar-era VH...even more than DLR VH! (--ducking--) :)

One of my husband's brothers looks a lot like Sammy, only with black hair, lol, and he's been asked numerous times over the years if they're related, lol.

I agree with u - I will duck as well - Sammy rocked with VH - DLR - to sleazy for my taste.

I like both eras of Van Halen but prefer the Diamond Dave albums. That dude made VH unique, there was no other band quite like them at the time. You weren't going to find anything about faded photographs or bleeding hearts in their lyrics, that's for sure.

Hit Parade magazine mentioned the sign on their trailer door.
