There's a theory out there that he's been instructed to make this saga last until after OTA's because he informed the Vikings that he doesn't want to attend them. So, rather than get off to a bad start with his teammates, he's gonna "miss" them.

Favre is now getting surgery on his torn bicep and if all goes well, is set to sign with the Vikings and be healthy in 6-8 weeks. That should put him Mid June/Early July to start throwing, test the arm, and get in shape the time August comes around. Favre is pretty much a Viking.

A healthy Favre with a really solid defense and Adrian Peterson could be a very dangerous team.

Agree, Vikings need a gunslinger to go with a runner like AP.. Favre's the perfect choice I don't care what any Favre hater has to say. Should be an entertaining division with Favre VS the youngbloods in Cutler and Rogers, let alone Favre Vs Green Bay.
