Yep, I would pay that along with the airfare and hotel and all that other stuff. You can't put a price on memories!

I thought that too, although having a bunch of football players who aren't singers "harmonize" with him didn't help.

Is that what u had in mind?

That's bullshit...and a cheap shot, not to mention that it's not true.

Hey it's IMHO - was not a cheap shot....and it's up to personal preference on what you or I believe to be true.

You just told someone else that you were joking...Now, It's Your Honest Opinion...Which is it?

I caught that too.

Ok - Everyone is so damn literal around here it was my Humble not Honest opinion.....the mastercard reference was meant as a joke and should have been taken that way as I have obsereved many SP jokes on this board in my short time here.

I once spent $400 for 2 front-row center tickets to see the Styx, Reo, Journey concert a few years back, and it was the best concert I've ever attended! I shook hands with pretty much everyone, and stood only feet away from every lead singer there. I couldn't hear SHIT for 3 days afterwords though! :D
Damn sarge you paid that much?? You could have gotten 10th row and walked up.Were you on the Gi bill or something? That was a good concert, right befor the lipping started

EVERYTHING I spend is on the "GI Bill". I don't know if you know this, but the GI Bill is actually money you get to use for college...not that you probably wanted to know, but now you do! So you ready to enlist? I need 1 more enlistment to finish out the year. :D

I didn't mind paying what I did for those tickets either. It was one of the best days/nights of my life! After the concert, we had a problem with the air conditioning in our hotel room. When we checked out the next day and wife mentioned it to the desk clerk. She asked us if we wanted the 100% guarantee. I'd never heard of it and said "sure". They didn't charge us a penny for the room, and it was a $350 a night room! We went shopping with the money we would have spent, and had ANOTHER awesome day.

More I think about this...I would need Rolie there too. That and it being their last show ever...I'm there. Hypothetically of course.

I'd pay $150 max. Then I'd download the boot for free.

The Philadelphia Spectrum is going to be torn down sometime in the upcoming year. They're planning a bunch of big, yet-unannounced events and rock concerts to send off the Spectrum with a bang. Springsteen and the Dead both played multiple nights there a few weeks back.

Although this entire subject is meaningless at this point, to reunite for one final appearance at a big jam concert at the Spectrum would be amazing.

Yeah, 1K a ticket better include backstage priveleges and unlimited food, booze and lapdances (not by anyone in the band of course) :) Seriously, 1K a ticket, that's way too steep for even I think the most dedicated Journey fan.

Nah, as much as I love perry and the band, I would not pay that. Not because I don't want to, but because I just plain can't! I'm on a full-time course in college and it would take me half a year to get a thousand clams for the flight over there, let alone the gig.

I'll watch it on youtube, or even better I'll buy a bootleg should the situation arise.wWhich won't be the same, but good enough.

I'll just rot and wait for Steve to release an autobiograpahy...

NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

in the spirit of continuing to cause trouble after saying that i'd rather listen to Oasis than the Beatles, may i just say i'd rather that Journey reunite with Steve Augeri?

That is all :)

I can't get behind your first statement but I'd totally agree with your last statement if Tall Stories weren't kicking so much ass.

I think some of us already had that $1,000.00 spent when we thought Perry was performing in Hawaii recently. For anyone
that has seen the movie the "BUCKET LIST" well, spending $1,000.00 for the chance to see Perry perform even without Journey is
certainly on MY bucket list. Something I would love to see before I die. I'd pay whatever it took to see that in my lifetime.
You only live once, and as a true loon, experiencing a live version of Perry's songs to fill my soul is priceless............................. :)

Agreed. This is definitely on my "To Do" list. If the opportunity ever (and I mean EVAH) presents itself, I'll be there. :D
