EXACTLY! I have watched that happen here time and time again and that is why I said something to begin with...to squash the rumor mill before it got to out of hand. It's uncool for anyone to jump to conclusions before Jeremey even had a chance to respond.

Thanks Dan,Im pretty sure i could cut it {not to sound conceaded} But that part of the country is to far away for me, Id have to quit my band and drive thru a swamp to get there.Ive never played a keytar{i call it gaytar}If the chance ever came up to play with Frontiers around where i live and j liked it, i d do it ,and with my Friga shirt which is hanging 3 feet from me in my closet.

My point is that it's not a loss yet if the possibilty hasn't even been discussed. Maybe Jeremey hasn't called you because he might have just assumed you would not be available? Perhaps? Some assumptions may be going on here on your part as well? So I don't think anyone should be putting the cart before the horse until Jeremey comes back with a response...either on the board or to you in private. I would like to see you both onstage next month so I would like to see the option kept on the table until Jeremey has a chance to see the offer, consider it and respond to it .

Where you were out of line was stepping in to lecture Melissa for using a common phrase that people use all the time to compliment something. She didn't say anything wrong, she didn't presume anything about any situations, she simply gave a guy a compliment. People say "oh well, his/her loss" all the time.

She didn't deserve a lecture for saying what she said, but you took it upon yourself to do so because you read something into her comment that none of the rest of us read. And because none of the rest of us thought Melissa deserved that, you received the backlash, or "nurmerous personal attacks" as you call it, because you happen to be the one who stirred the pot. If you'd left it alone, it would have gone on to other things because the rest of the forum read Melissa's words for what they were, a compliment. Not so true.....don't know if you remember, but I jokingly (by the and smilies) added a "your highness" on to the end of one of my posts and she went ballistic and proceeded to call me everything from a common streetwalker to trailer trash. I guess I must have hit a nerve.

If you take it that Andrew meant for everyone to move on then why haven't you??? I asked her a question...it was up to her to answer it or not and up to her to decide how she would respond to it. There was no attack in the question..it was a question asking what she did mean. Why did you and others use that as an opportunity to get in some personal attacks? Was the question directed to you? You have no justifications for the personal attacks you have made in this thread...absolutely none. Get real, Behshad...you took an opportunity as you saw it and pounced. You also started saying vulgar comments towards me a long long time ago without any provocation what so ever so who are you trying to kid? I didn't mean anything by my compliment and you know that. Your questions were just sh*t-stirring, and you know that too. And you ask him if the question was directed at B...well was my compliment to someone else directed at you? NOPE. You can dish out the lectures, but you sure can't take them.

Where you were out of line was stepping in to lecture Melissa for using a common phrase that people use all the time to compliment something. She didn't say anything wrong, she didn't presume anything about any situations, she simply gave a guy a compliment. People say "oh well, his/her loss" all the time.

She didn't deserve a lecture for saying what she said, but you took it upon yourself to do so because you read something into her comment that none of the rest of us read. And because none of the rest of us thought Melissa deserved that, you received the backlash, or "nurmerous personal attacks" as you call it, because you happen to be the one who stirred the pot. If you'd left it alone, it would have gone on to other things because the rest of the forum read Melissa's words for what they were, a compliment. You started it, and now, as usual, you're lashing out at everyone because you're unable to see that the whole problem started with you.

What you feel are personal "attacks" are nothing more than people looking at both sides and stating what they see happening, and just because none of them agree with what you saw, you take it as a personal attack on you.

A one sentence question is a lecture??? Questioning someone to clarify what they meant by what they said is out of line?? Did I stir the pot or did others take the opportunity to come in and stir it by conducting personal attacks...aren't you contributing your 2 cents to continue to stir it up yourself?
