My AOTW is Sirenia "The 13th Floor"

Still eagerly anticipating the official US release. But I've now listened to this one a couple dozen times, and now the album starts my iPod gothic playlist on every road trip.

AOTW: Factory of Dreams - Poles

An Ambeon-like project from Hugo Flores. Pretty good.

I did finally trade for a copy on cd-r. Only listened to it twice but liked what I heard. Added it to the never-ending list of cds-to-get (having no spending money sucks.)

My AOTW goes to Delain "Lucidity." Project of ex-Within Temptation keyboardist Martijn Westerholt. Picks up where WT's 'Mother Earth' left off. Strong debut, featuring a nice list of guest musicians, including Marco of Nightwish, Liv Kristine, and Sharon den Adel.

Can't wait to get "April Rain." The tracks they posted on Myspace sound really good.

Speaking of Delain...their new one "April Rain" is my AOTW. A couple tracks shy of a perfect album, but certainly a number of contenders for song of the year.

AOTW: Heaven & Hell - The Devil You Know

First two songs don't do much for me, but after that it gets better. I would like to see another faster paced song, other than Eating the Cannibals, but overall, not a bad cd at all. Worth getting.

'And then there three' by Genesis - only discovered it recently and I think nearly every track is great!

AOTW: OSI - Blood

Some of it I like, some of it not so much. Kevin Moore as a vocalist only works in certain types of songs.

Oi Tali, what you think of the new Devin coming out. I heard snippets of it, and I not impressed.

A bit dissapointed with Devin's new one, I must admit doggy. Its supposed to be part of a four album set. This one is just a bit too subdued for my liking. The next couple are supposed to be heavier....and not to far away.
