I wouldn’t go as far as saying only loons would rise up and defend their man come hell or high water, either. What about the wigglers? Some of them still think Tapegate was a conspiracy made up by a few haters and SA never lip-synched. And I dare say Arnel’s Army is approaching legend status in the sheer volume and number of uploaded youtube videos showing Arnel talking, smiling, singing …

Neal has his share of devoted fans, too. They may not be as vocal (okay, as obnoxious as some perryloons), but for every criticism of Neal and his many “foot in the mouth” comments in the press, Neal fans will quickly jump to the rescue with explanations (extrapolations). Jon is the only one I see lacking in having “apologists” around this board. Oops, forgot about Tito…I think he mostly goes for effect, though ...not a tried and true “apologist” .

Interesting, someone brought up a “Mrs. Kravitz” as a poster. I remember back in the old days, when it was the loons vs. goons every day around here, Yak (a goon) had as his avatar a pix of a very nude Nicole Kidman (who very seriously dated the musician Lenny Kravitz). Now Yak is back, with no avatar.

What's interesting is why you singled me out. If you like I can find another naked picture of a woman. Didn't know you were into that sort of thing. For the record, the pic was not showing anything, it was a great photograph of a lovely lady. I guess it was made that way to make minds wander, and I guess yours did. Have you never seen quality, high end photography?

Now on the other hand, if you are alluding to me being this "Mrs. Kravitz" I have no idea who the hail this character is. Not me. Probably one of the looney tunes who used to post here.

I am forever a Neal fan, for the record. One of the guitar greats, whether you like him or not. Also for the record, nobody on this planet is as obnoxious as a Perryloon. They are likely the reason Perry stays hidden.

No, I'm not insinuating anything. Just found it ironic that someone mentions a Mrs. Kravitz poster and you came back to this board after being gone for awhile. As a long-time lurker (but only started posting here for about a year), I was only making my usual contributions and passing along information. I do have a strange recall of memory--about people and events--no offense intended.

And, maybe you misread my sentence above. I did intend to say that some of the more vocal perryloons can be obnoxious. I think you will agree there were some memorable, dragged out, down and dirty, loon-goon battles in your heydays here. Andrew even went so far as to set up a separate SP board to separate the combatants, but that didn't do any good, as posters still crossed boards to do battle   . That was a short experiment! :P

I seldom misread anything. Your agenda has been duly noted. At the time to which you refer, there were many of the guys who had what you refer to as "naked pictures." You singled me out. You attempted to tie me in with this "Mrs. Kravitz." Nice try, but you get no banana. I highly doubt I would agree with anything you have to say.

So what if I don't have an avatar? What's your point? Why is that even a point?

I am not a goon. Journey fans are not "goons."The separate Steve Perry board to which you refer got taken down because, although the Perry fans had begged for their own board, they couldn't resist the temptation of coming back to the Journey board to throw a few scuds. All planned by them behind the scenes, because they operate as a group. That's why the Perry board was shut down. They were really attempting to shut down the Journey board. That's been their motive all along.

I was there. We also contracted Tanya Harding to smack Steve Augeri in the knee with a nightstick, but she was detained by security at the ticketing entrance. Instead we opted to plant lip synching tapes in Neal's gigbag to tempt him to give Augeri a break, and it worked (i.e. Tapegate).

Don't you remember Cat? You called us and said you couldn't make it to that meeting because your cat was sick.

Well, I voted "undecided" but I'm changing that to "no, I'm not a loon".

Love the man's voice and think he's good-looking man; however, if I lived near him and heard he was at such-n-such pizza place, I really wouldn't start going there in the hope of running into him.

Also, I wouldn't take a bullet for him 'cause I've don't know him.

BTW, why would a friend expect a friend to take a bullet for them?

someone that would EXPECT a friend to take a bullet for them probably isn't a real friend.

My thought exactly, Cyndy! A friend wouldn't expect anything from a friend...just being a friend is being a friend...if you know what I mean...does that make sense?

Someone, somewhere said "take a bullet for him"...I just thought that was slightly loonish myself. Maybe I added the "friend" part 'cause I've read of people saying "I'd take a bullet for ya buddy".

Yes Cyndy.....You were telling us how HH commented to his wife that you and Lora would take a bullet for SP. That must have been funny to hear HH say that about the two of you.

It was me who said that I would take a bullet for some of my best friends and I assume they would do the same for me....I did not mean I would take a bullet for SP - but I understand the kind of friendship that Cyndi and Lora must have if they indeed would.....so hope that clears up the bullet mystery!!!! back to your scheduled program...
