Kiss now that is a throw back.......that is 80's glam rock.....I would have prefered another 70's-80's band, but then I guess that would have been too much to ask!

a throw back to what??? KISS rocks any year...

to the 80's - yes Kiss rocks :)

I thought Carlos and the band sounded awesome. Makes me want to go to Vegas.

I didn't like Adam and Kiss together. First I never liked Kiss, second I thought he got lost on stage with all the makeup and fireworks if that's possible.

naa.. KISS wouldnt make you want to go to Vegas..

Maybe I don't want Perry singing live again and making a comeback after watching Rod Stewart. I remember when he was amazing on stage. Not that he sounds bad. For Rod, he's really pretty good. But it's kind of sad. I like my memories of Rod and not watching that performance. Maybe I would like the same for Steve Perry, the great memory.

He sounded terrible & looks like an old tired Vegas lounge singer. There was no soul in that performance.

Gotta agree with you there. I love Rod, and it was great to see him, but that was kinda painful to watch. If Perry's voice is similarly degraded, perhaps in this case, silence is golden.

One thing that may be true is that as great a voice and probably the greatest use of singing tools as SP once had, a degraded voice now, is more than likely better than anything we have going now, today. Yup, he was that good.

I said a couple of weeks ago that Adam would make the perfect front man for Queen. Ladies and gentleman I rest my case. Perfect! 8)

I'm thinking I'll have to DVR this whole show later (we get it here twice). It's been one of the better finales, for sure.

I, personally, don't see how you're all comparing him to Steve Perry. Yes, he has a bit of the range, according to the Queen song just performed, but his tone is nowhere near Perry's, or for that matter, Mercury's.

Contestant this year - they called her Bikini Girl because that's what she wore for her audition. I'm sure she's on youtube somewhere (but she was a little 'bigger' tonight  )

Holy Upset.  The tweens and teens came through. I don't see this guy lasting. I'm shocked. Chris is shocked. They didn't even say it was close. Usually they say when it's very close in the vote.
