Holy Upset. The tweens and teens came through. I don't see this guy lasting. I'm shocked. Chris is shocked. They didn't even say it was close. Usually they say when it's very close in the vote.

Probably going to be some mommy and daddy's quite shocked with their teens cell text charges this month. As soon as I saw Adam performing with Queen, I changed my mind on who i wanted to win. Kris can be locked into an AI contract now, but Adam will be free to do what he wants and I'm sure he'll have all kinds of offers to pick and choose from. I'm sorry but Adam and Kris were like chocolate and vanilla........I guess we'll see who we are still hearing about a year from now. Love how Adam and Alison were paired up in the group things, they seem like good friends and too cute together. Wow, major star power this year!

Lar, I love Rod Stewart. Maggie May was always a favorite song of mine. But watching a 65 year old man in an ugly plaid sports coat sing about a young man who should be in school pine for his older lover just doesn't work. He looked and sounded tired and clearly "he picked the wrong song"...

I'm not surprised that Kris won. I was a big Adam fan for quite a while, but his shrieking started getting on my nerves. I found myself anxious for his performances to be over. If the competition ended about 3 weeks ago, Adam would have won, but I think a lot of people just became irritated by his screaming after a while.

But Clay had a couple CDs that were big sellers. No, I'm not a claymate. But I did watch it that year. I actually bought the first CD and gave it away. It wasn't bad. I'm not even an AI person. I miss most of the shows.

That's the thing though, that is something that is easily fixable......heck a couple hours with a good vocal coach would probably do the trick. Where as you just can't turn vanilla into chocolate. That was a few years ago. The last one didn't sell peanuts. Now he is a one line joke on the late night talk shows. He has claymates who are literal stalkers. He has that huge bodyguard to protect him from them. I didn't think you were one.

Nobody hit higher notes and stayed within vocal contrast than SP, (circa, 1977-79). I saw it first hand and there are youtube clips to prove it. Freddie or any1 else for that matter.
