"Who Do You Give Your Love To?"

Postby G.I.Jim » Fri May 22, 2009 9:29 pm

I used to LOVE this album in the 80's, and I haven't thought about it for years. I was taking a shower this morning (I try to take one every Friday), and this song popped into my head. Does anyone else here remember this song? It may be a little too pop for some here, but I love it! Hope you enjoy...

"Let You In"- newer song, sounds very much like a Leppard tune.

I've not heard the first song in years, either. Haven't heard the second one before....I agree, it does sound very DL.

Yeah...I definitely hear the Rick Springfield there. I don't recall what it was for, but he was arrested for something a few years back. Does anyone here know what that was for?

Don't remember the story about Rick Springfield and don't know the other guy's story.

However, I can tell my story. The apartment next to me is allotted to a client from the local mental health facility. Pretty sure they were making meth when they first moved in. Another neighbor called the cops about the odor and everyone on this floor had the joy of cops pounding on their doors.

Now the hallway just reeks...don't know what that odor is but I wish I had a gas mask every time I pass that apartment. You just gave me the idea it may be 'cause he/she doesn't bath but once a week! :P

Hopefully it's not dead bodies. There was a psycho killer in my hometown that was killing young men in his apartment and then dumping their bodies in barrels of acid also in his apartment. The other tenents complained about the smell for months and nothing was ever done, until a drugged naked young man escaped and the police were called. They eventually moved everyone out of the building and tore it down. The killer's name was Jeffrey Dahmer.

Yuck (to put it mildly)! I grew up on a farm so I know the smell of decomposition and it doesn't smell like that! Anyway, I'm already shoving things in front of my door so nobody can get in while I sleep...now I'll add a icepick to my bedside! Now the people next door may be perfectly nice but I'm scent-sensitive!

BTW, I've also got a registered sex offender on the floor above me! Welcome to my world!
