Yeah! I remember that little dirt cheap deed; it's looking like to me that the war ain't over yet. :(

Not only that, but their liberal politics are way out of control. Somehow I became the victim of a free membership to RS, and there must be some darker force behind their political commentary. They probably hate Journey because Neal's a patriot who sometimes plays the National Anthem on his guitar.

i beg of you dear rip, do not equate liberal politics with being anti-patriotic. i lean towards the liberal end and am also patriotic. my father was a staunch democrat who served his country, along with 8 of his brothers also democrats, in WWII. conservatives, republicans, right-wing religious, etc... are not necessarily patriotic. i can't speak to rolling stone's political bent, but don't really care anyway.

carry on

Kiss
Def Leppard
Pat Benatar
Genesis
Chicago
Boston
The Doobie Brothers
Rush
The Moody Blues
Cheap Trick

Chicago has been eligible since the early 1990s and has never made the final cut, despite having sold 130 million records, dolling out 40 hits, having hit albums in four decades and once charting eight albums on the Billboard top 200 at the same time.

My point? Rolling Stone just hates some bands, especially so called "corporate rock" acts. And because they have such an influence over who "gets in", I think we're gonna be waiting for a while for Journey and others to get their rightful due.

KISS? They can't be serious.... The rest I agree with, but not Kiss. Kiss isn't about music, it's about merchandising.

NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

I seem to remember one of them writing with Tommy Shaw... I could be wrong on that.
