Classic Rock Magazine's 50 Greatest Singers

Voted Worlds #1 Most Loonatic Fanbase

Where I put Perry depends on the criteria. If it's "greatest vocal talent" then he's #1. If it's "greatest vocal career" then he dives into the teens. Combine the two and I'd put him in the lower half of the top 10, pretty much right where this list has him.

I don't think Pat's half the singer Ann is. She's okay, but Ann's got more balls.
Robert Plant... never got him either. That last stuff he did with Zepplin... dang, where's the pitch control when you need it!?

I've seen both quite a few times live. I just like Pat better, she has an edgier voice where Ann is more of a power singer. I do love both of them though.

I don't get Paul Stanley either. Sorry Dan. Not a Kiss fan. But, he does have some good vocal spots.

By the way, that photo of Phil Collins cracks me up. Weird lookin dude.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

Pat's voice was a bit toasted last time I saw her. God, that was like 10 years ago or sumpin'

Paul Stanly is a legend and can sing fucking circles around Eric Martin. Perhaps if you met him he would "emote" better and have more "soul."

Whatever Dan. Bringing the fight upstairs are we? Not saying Paul Stanley or Kiss aren't legends, but as far as strictly singing/vocal skill I don't agree Paul can sing circles around Eric. And nice try, but didn't have to meet EM to know that he's a soulful singer, that was well apparent to me many years ago. Pretty sure meeting Stanley wouldn't make him a better vocalist to my ears. Didn't work with Kip Winger......very talented, very good singer and a sweetheart of a guy, but vocally doesn't bump any of my fave vocalists out of top 3.

Totally just giving ya a hard time, Deb! I like Eric Martin. Dude'a a good singer but I really do think Stanley's better. That guy has a catalog that's very diverse and he can still really bring it at an advanced age. Have you ever seen KISS live? Great fucking show (all the silly theatrics aside).

PS We need these guys to get together for a fucking reunion!!!

Hell this poll like so many others is crap and a sham. Saint John, you get an A+ on your view. Hell, i'll take my new hero Adam Lambert before half that crew. And the sad thing is, he hasn't even recorded a CD yet.

Don't see how Paul Stanley is ranked higher than Ann Wilson, but then again I don't think I've ever been in agreement with any kind of list like this.
