I think there is a difference between people having him on their OWN top 50 best singers of all time list and an actual list like this. For some people, he is top on their personal list and I don't see why that matters. And Tito did make a dig. Not without justification, but without provocation is how I see it

You went to a Frontiers show the other night and posted about it. No arena? No number #1 hits? You went, you had great time, that's all that matters!

Exactly. And how many people were they playing too? Any less than 10,000 and I guess they have no credibility eh? Unless one is being selective and illogical!!!

To both of you...you don't see me comparing them to Gramm, Perry, Mercury or Jamison, do you??? On a relative basis (cover bands) they're very good at what they do. You guys are comaparing apples to oranges because you're just about out of excuses as to why the 2 aforementioned acts can't sell or tour domestically. Heck, at least Frontiers can do that. And quite well might I add.

The point I was trying to make was that some of your faves like Emmett, Jamison, Gramm (no matter how big they once were) are playing clubs and casinos too now. Can they not sell or tour domestically? There is lots of great mega-selling artists of the 80s/90s playing small venues in north america........and playing much bigger venues overseas. Both Mr Big and Talisman have played to big crowds in their time too. I've seen Rik Emmett quite a few times back in the Triumph days and I'd be just as happy to see him (maybe even moreso) play a more intimate club than an arena show........but then for me it's fully about the music and talent, could care less about number 1s and units sold.
