Congratulations to your daughter and your new son-in-law!
Steal all you want. Go to Salcombe if you ever can. Unreal place.

We went to many of the same places you did while we were there many years ago, except it absolutely poured the day we were in Warwick. We took photos of Stonehenge through the fence, too.![]()
BTW, did you get to see the really large stone circles in Avebury (http://www.avebury-web.co.uk)? If I recall correctly, I think these circles (there are 3) may be older than Stonehenge and one surrounds the town. While there, we were able to walk among the stones, touch them, take pictures, etc. We also came upon a church that was about 700 years old (can't remember it's name).
We spent about a week in England. We also went to the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben/Parliament, The British Museum, Windsor Castle, Westminster Abbey, Glastonbury Abbey and Tor, Bath, and Chatsworth House (http://www.chatsworth.org - where we got locked in!). I can't recall where else we visted right now, but I'm sure that I'm forgetting some. We even did our own little Def Leppard tour and visited many of the sites in Sheffield where they started out and visited Steve Clark's grave (surprisingly it was very modest).
I'd love to go back again to see more of the country, as well as visit Scotland, Wales, and Ireland.
