I have to admit Josh Groban is the best voice I've ever heard in my life, obviously fits just for that type of music, though. I received his first CD once as a gift and his vocals on there were just stunning.

Josh Groban is a Grammy-nominated singer songwriter. Groban was first discovered at age 17 when his vocal teacher introduced him to producer David Foster. His voice is categorized as a low tenor. He claims Steve Perry among others as one of his musical influences. Certainly not a rocker, but he has a beautiful voice.

Groban, to me, embodies the ultimate example of what rigorous training and versatility can get you. His tools are probably not better than Perry's, but he seems to have far more control than even the great man himself.

Absolutely stellar voice.
'Nothing was bigger for Journey than 1981’s “Escape” album. “I have to attribute that to Jonathan coming in and joining the writing team,” Steve Perry (Feb 2012).'

He also seems like a really nice, humble, person. You don't get a diva vibe from Josh. I find that very appealing.

Wow - Johnny Cash has outsold Rhianna, Kelly Clarkson, Black Eyed Peas, Gwen Stefani, John Mayer, Lil Wayne, 50 cent, K. West, Alicia Keys, Michelle Branch, OutKast, Stained, Coldplay, and all the others in the decade where they are at the peak of their careers?

That's impressive!!

Johnny Cash was the real deal. A lot of these others are posers and fly by nights.

Josh Groban's fan base ranges in age from 12 to 90, domestically and internationally. He's been careful though not to saturate the market with annual album releases.

This is pretty cool

I like him, but don't care for his vibrato at all. Has what I call "goat" vibrato. baaahhhhhhhh. It's too fast.

More control? C'mon. Are you kidding?
