That's how you earn a goal. Great play Malkin and Feddy with the finisher! Needed that before intermission. 0-0.

Nice trip and no call leading to a breakway. I see Bettman's got the word out! I'm sure if Kronwall had tripped Crosby like that, he would have gotten another 5 minute major and Game misconduct.
Follow that "missed" call with a penalty to the Wings!

Another even up call on the Wings. Yup it's the Wings against the Penguins/NHL

This is the perfect time for a new, young, and fresh team take control of the league, and this is the NHL's shot.

I wonder if the Penguins do win the cup if Bettman will blow Crosby right there at center ice before presenting him the cup?

Christ now you are crying like Deano...it's always the league on the side of the team you don't like.

Grow up and stop whining for fuck's sake!

Your wings are playing a little on edge and have taken some stupid penalties, but lucky for them have killed them in impressive fashion.

Good game so far all the way around.

Normally, I'd agree with you. But it's so damn predictable, when the commish and the league are INVESTED in one side. You'd see it that way too, if it wasn't your side they favored.

RWF, youre my wings-bud, but lets leave that crap aside.

Whoever that wins this series IS the better team (which is the RedWings of course ;)),,, but should Pen's win the cup, you need to be man enough to congratulate them and realize that they won ONLY and ONLY because of their hardwork and their ability to overcome the Amazing Red Wings :) ( Dream on Pens :P)

Enjoy the 2 freebies, I know I would. RWF I have a feeling is going to bitch about every single call in the series. I didn't see one thing wrong with any of the penalties for both teams. The Pens are playing better, and I think it's clear. The wall got Fluery TWICE, and the Pens should have at least goals with the opportunities that THEY lost. 20 more min to fix it. It's Penguins VS Penguins and the Wings are just enjoying the gifts.

Pittsburgh thoroughly dominated the Wings for about 12 minutes and have nothing to show for it. Osgood is just amazing in the playoffs. I think Pitsburgh has already let this one slip away. Have you seen the way the Wings play in the 3rd period during the playoffs? Get out the Kleenex, Stu. You're gonna need it.

Well, can you honestly say the Wings "SHOWED FOR IT" on those 2 goals? No, they didn't. The Pens had multiple opportunities that SHOULD have gone in, and Satan whiffed badly on that forehand. I think it's the opposite.. this is scary for the Wings the way the Pens showed up 2night. Pens play better when trailing.

OK Trav, now youre starting to sound like RWF. 8) Snap out of it. :x
Both teams are playing better, but Detroir happens to have that ONE extra things that helps in tight games like this: LUCK :)

Good luck :P

Ok...time for the heavy artillery...I know the Redwings are an amazing hockey team...but how many Superbowls have the Lions won?? Oh wait...they have never even BEEN to one.

At least the lowly Penguins have won a couple of Stanley Cups.

That shithole of a city called Detroit has NOTHING but the Redwings.

I can't tell you how many times I've cried when the Steelers lost big games. Esp 2002 season where Tenn beat us when Joe Nedney "acted" on that roughing the kicker penalty. I'm man enough to admit that a couple tears rolled down the face, as did the '04 loss to the Pats. :x

I did cry for the '04 loss...but only because it was 10 below zero and I paid $2500 for tickets to the game and froze my ass off watching the Steelers get thumped!

How long have you been posting here? I hate the Lions! One of the highlights of my week are reading about the previous day's loss. Michael Rosenberg is hilarious, followed closely by Mitch Albom. Other than football.
