Getting a female lead singer would either be a brilliant gamble or the stupidest thing Journey has ever done regarding its lead singers! I think it would be a very bad idea and I doubt they would risk their legacy sound to that degree. It took them two decades to detune a half step, so I don't see this happening. Thank God, by the way, because the vocals as intro to 'Journey Revelation' on disc one had me climbing the walls as it is - they just didn't belong there. I think it would end Journey and there would be no coming back from it except a reunion with Steve Perry and I doubt many would be willing to place bets on that either! (I'm hopeful but realistic).
