OT - Plane dissapears

This is getting stranger and stranger-

Witnesses saw a bright white flash before the plane disappeared.
The wreckage they found and the oil slick are NOT from the plane.

It's hard to not draw comparisons to Lost here. I mean no disrespect, it's just strangely similar.
I keep waiting for some Network Exec to come on the news and say it's a publicity stunt for the show.

Sorry my quote didn't work right. This was in reply to Jana's post. The highlighted part was part of her post. When a guy comes home late at night with scratches on his back and tells you he was abducted by aliens. What do you think happened?
