Jason did well waxing poetic but the jacket is simply charcoal grey with light grey thread in the seams and a black tshirt. You did fine Jason, and Blueskies, I am quite aware there are quite a lot of artists on this site, many that put me to shame. And I was just joking with him in the first place. I could care less what color Steve's clothes are. As I am sure you were just kidding around with us! :D :D :D
Yes, I was. 8)

How are things with you? I still want to see some of your artwork.......by the way Jason, Blueskies is an artist too! :D
I'm doing well,...actually working on a painting today...have a pool party to go to this afternoon but hopefully I'll get this one done by tomorrow. I've got a mural job to do next week....and also been talking to a theater group about doing some stage scenery....hope I get that gig. Still building my portfolio to work towards a showing. How's your work coming along?

Do you have anything you're able to post?

My aunt took up painting about 12-13 years ago, and she has a few hanging in her home that I just love, and she was nice enough to paint a lighthouse for me (because I collected them for awhile. It's fairly simple, but it's my favorite wall hanging because it came from her and was just for me.

There are some things I wouldn't mind posting and don't care about copywrite on but have no way of posting them right now...had a computer meltdown...had to wait awhile to get it fixed...had other priorities....but finally sent it off and now waiting on it's return... so just been using a laptop for awhile...ugh! but when I get my comp back I will. Thats cool that your Aunt took up painting and she is using her creativity. Lighthouses, huh...I've done a couple lighthouse paintings..I'll post one when I can. 8)

Jason, I am curious also. Are you an artist? You seem to like color. And you know more than the 12 shades that most men recognize. They only see limited colors............Orange is orange, not pumpkin. etc.......

Actually, no. Dancing is my forte. Nope. No artist. There's nothing fancy about me. I'm just a waiter mostly. It pays well because I throw in some extra pizzazz, like juggling & that usually brings in the good tippers and it helps to have my own clientele. I also work part-time as a (you guessed it) exotic dancer & yes, it involves nudity. It pays well too because I throw in a little extra something like the rolling wave effect I can do with my abs. It's kind of a Chippendale’s thing. TMI?

I used to be able to draw fairly well but only in pencil and I haven't drawn in years. I never tried my hand at color & I certainly couldn't work with paints of any sort. I mentioned the idea about posting your stuff here because this site reaches such a large audience & it's not all about music. Maybe with some added exposure the right person will see your work & point you in the right direction. Ain't no harm in networking a little. :D

artist4perry: I checked out your website. You are extremely talented!!! My guess would be the one you named "The feast" would have been the most difficult to do because your main focal points are white. It's hard to draw white figures. At least it was for me. It's challenging because it limits your options. You're limited on the amount of shading you can do & so it's hard to get the effect you're after.

I would say dancing is a tallent...............one I don't have. My maiden name was Ginger Rogers if you want a laugh! I cannot dance at all...............

Thanks for your kind words........."The feast" is a painting, actually two paintings side by side. It was early work. I draw mostly now. I like to paint, but I need to do more of it to improve.

Reason why I asked is because you seem to have a firm understanding on color. Maybe more of an artist than you know. :D

Hey, thanks for your kind words as well. I tried out for So You Think You Can Dance a few years back. I made it to Vegas, but got cut shortly that. The sleep deprivation did me in. The schedule was grueling. Besides, I was competing with mostly 18-21 year olds. I'm 31 now so I'm "over the hill" because their cut-off point is 30. :(

My thing on the colors just came natural. I guess my being bisexual helps me see pumpkin in addition to just orange. :D

Not all Bisexuals have an eye for color............You might just have a natural tallent your unaware of. You said you used to draw. So maybe a tallent in other feilds your unaware of thats all. :D
