That exactly whats happened. And the BNP jumped on it's chance. Most of whome who voted for BNP are not racist, just ignorant and want somebody to blame and dont actually know what the BNP stand for, just that they know they dont want immigrants to have the jobs. The thing is though, BNP (minus the racist shit) bring up some very good points regarding "protecting British rights" etc but they just go the wrong way about it. They have a go at all these councils that try to blame St Georges Day (not one did, but for some reason because the Daily Mail printed it, it's the truth) but two wrongs dont make a right at the of the day.

I'm really not particularly impressed with any religion. And The Ku Klux Klan and the rest of them ignorant organizations are hard to even take seriously they're so fucking unintelligent and pitiful. The Christian Identity movement holds the distinction of being No. 1 on the FBI's list of most dangerous hate groups. Extremist groups such as the Ku Klux Klan, the Aryan Nation and The Order have embraced the movement's racist, gay-bashing and anti-Semitic doctrines to justify acts of violence.

Violence has followed Identity followers themselves. In the past year, claiming they were acting under the authority of "God's Law," Identity followers have been charged in the slaying of a gay couple and the killing of a postal worker in a shooting spree at a Jewish day-care center.

The movement is estimated by the FBI at 50,000 strong and growing, particularly in Missouri, where there are 17 Christian Identity affiliates. California is second with nine.

Identity followers are suspected in the shootings of two Missouri Highway patrolmen: the 1985 murder of Trooper Jim Linegar and the 1994 attempted murder of Trooper Bobbie Harper.

Last weekend, the Identity movement gathered in Branson, Mo., to sing gospel songs, praise "Yahweh" (God) and celebrate the superiority of the white race.

Post-Dispatch reporters Carolyn Tuft and Joe Holleman examine the beliefs of Identity members and their movement, and the implications it will have on race and ethnic issies in coming years.

Let's not go that far, Churchill gave away the position of an american sub, or ship(which was subsequently blown to smithereens) to coax us into WWII....so I wouldn't be putting many praises on Churchill.

Churchill also let the Germans bomb Coventry to avoid letting the Germans discover we had cracked their code. FDR apparently let the Japs attack Pearl Harbor so wed get in to ww2. Wilson/LLOyd let the Lusitania get U boated to get the US public support stoked up for ww1. McKinley let the Maine get attacked so the US could get into the Spanish American war, etc etc etc. Lots of examples of this, most of these unsubstanitated conspiracy theories.
