Susie, I would like to add I like that you have your music on the bottom of your sig. I enjoyed perusing your music. I love what you did with the song "fever". To me that is a fun song to sing, and you made it sultry and sexy. I will probably peruse all of them in time~LOL! You have such a gift.......... :D

Thank you for your kind words, and I hope you enjoy the clips I have given links to.....but this is about YOU!

I can tell you are holding back and not letting go.

But that is understandable - because you are new to recording and you knew we would all listen to you.

Now you have positive feedback you can take that on board and loosen up a little for the next time.

And don't envy Alto's! We all have the range Nature gave us.
I can't sing high. I have no power up there.
My range is about two and a half octaves which is nothing special, but rather than try to extend that, I just do my best with the range I am comfortable with.
No point straining in my opinion.

So choose songs in your range and sing along with them and then when you feel ready............bring them on.

That is your homework for the weekend.

I will, might PM them first though, I don't want to bore or piss anyone off! LOL! And Susie, this is about anyone who wants to sing, but has been afraid because of judgements of others. I find most the folks here kind, and want anyone to add to this thread at will.

Again, I will take your advice to heart, and I will practice more, when my son is not around, he looks so pathetic when I am practicing........like Mom, are you done yet? LOL! One of my friends might show up! LOL!

Well after all its their song I feel they deserve top billing....

Thanks for the vote of confidence...I think as sometimes its hard to turn my voice down as it doesn't know how to sing without going for the sky.

Last time I was on a stage a real stage was in NYC July 4th about 1997 Rock N Roll Cafe where I was called up by Peter Mayhew to join him in Bad Company's "Feel Like Making Love"...It was a thrill!!!
