I got my tickets to see Journey (w/Heart) today for August 18th! I haven't been able to see them since Jeff sang for them during the Def Leppard double-bill tour (in Milwaukee).

Out of curiosity, anyone have a rough idea what Heart will play?

Their Set List might look something like this:

Will you be there
What about love
Never
Who will you run to
Road Home
Stranded
Back to Avalon
If looks could kill
These dreams
Nothin’ at all
Alone
All I want to do is make love to you

I saw them w/Journey last August in atlanta and I would be surprised if it was different. They were great, totally worth the price of the ticket alone.

I'm passing on Journey/Heart. No interest in seeing Journey anymore.

But I am seeing Heart tonight. I can't wait for that!!!

Hope you enjoy your show. Heart is worth the ticket price alone!

I agree with ya Kel, my interest in paying $100 per ticket to see Journey has really gone down. Now if Augeri came back it would be a different story.

Wow...I can only wish!

Personally, I want to hear more of the above (i.e. the 80s and early 90s stuff). Unfortunately they didn't write most of it, so they tend to avoid it in the live shows.

Wild Child is a phenomenal opener, and I do hope they continue to play it.

I've heard mention about their avoidance of playing the 80s/90s stuff, but is it because they didn't write it or is it because of having to pay some type of royalty for performing them? Just wondering

Howaard Leese used to handle all their song arrangements and what not, he was really an integral part of the band. Since he left , their sets are shorter and have included more and more covers. Maybe they need to invite him back.

He was a great element to the band, no doubt about it. I'm not even sure of the circumstances that led to his departure, but he seems content on his own and Heart seems content without him.

Since the name Howard Leese wouldn't register with most ticket buyers, I'm not sure that Heart would be inclined to bring him back into the fold. Howard, however, may be interested in a reunion.

I say bring back Leese, Mark Andes, and Denny Carmassi, add some more hair and BAM - it's Heart circa 1985 again.

Thanks Gunbot. Granted, it's cool to see and hear Ann tackle Zeppelin stuff, I'm just not big on multiple covers when (I would assume) the majority of the people going to the show expect to hear more hits, but unfortunately there will never be enough diehards to outnumber casuals.

I'm with you. Last year I seen them and Journey sounded great with Arnel. I'm not interested in hearing them detuned. If I wanted to hear Creed I'd buy their ticket.

Just out of curiosity, how much did you pay AFTER the B.S. fees? I agree with the majority of you...........I would only pay to see Heart.

Depending on the venue, 15 to 35 dollars. And add parking to that in some places so $50 is a real possibilty.

Just take an extra hundred to be safe. 8)

Did anyone hear Ratt, Extreme, Judas Priest and Whitesnake are hitting the road together? Just heard this on Sirius yesterday. Add that to the Cruefest in late August, Def Leppard in mid August and I have plenty of concerts to see!
