People keep saying something is playing now, but when I go there it's someone else playing. I thought this is a live stream, so it wouldn't seem they would be re-airing something, or are they?

Def Lepard is playing now.

I'd say Joe Elliott is a bit nervous about his vocals. They played it up about great sound in Dublin although the reviews speak otherwise. Probably doesn't want it broadcast to millions if he stinks on the classics.

Their 40 minute set was shown live this afternoon UK time.

Now they are just showing highlights in rotation, and they are showing the same clips each time.
Same for the other bands who were on earlier.

That could be the reason and maybe Dave Coverdale didn't want close up shots?

That would be my guess. I saw him live in Birmingham a couple year ago with DL and while some loved it. I thought he had lost a bit. :? :?

And haven't there been allegations about miming, too?
What about ZZ though? I can't see vanity or close ups shots being their reason for not letting us see anything from their set.
Were they even on?

"C'Mon C'Mon" had a very rough start, the instruments were off. Then Joe started singing the wrong line and I knew something was up!

Is Journey's next concert in France? Maybe Cain will lighten up with a smaller crowd.
Didn't his Ex make movies over there also?
On second thought, maybe that's why Jon looked pissed. He's not looking forward to visiting the peeps across the channel.

And if it all sounded too perfect, we'd all be bitching about that.

In the interview they gave 'backstage' he was in a friendly and talkative mood.
I don't know if that was before or after their set.

Maybe when he got on stage he realised he needed to pee and he had to hold it in for 40 minutes.
He did seem to exit the stage pretty quick.

That'll be it. He was heading for the lavatory.

I don't know why I didn't think of that before. See. Simple.

I spoke to Jonathan just before and just after the set at Download. He was happy, chatty and friendly. If he doesn't look that way on stage maybe he's just concentrating on the show.

I thought he was fine. 8) How was the sound for the show? We were having a hard time hearing the piano in places. It looks like the crowd loved them.
