Portrait of a psychopath for sure. When he gets out he will probably become a serial killer.

:(

That is so true. Profilers have often said that many serial killers started out killing animals. That's how Jeffrey Dahmer started. They get a taste for it and it just keeps escalating. Combine that with a sexual component and you have a pretty powerful and obsessive combination.

I guess killing ants with magnifying glasses is ok, huh?

Anybody here ever smoosh an ant? Ever kill a spider? Well there is absolutely no difference in killing an ant, spider or other such creepy crawlies, and killing another animal.

You can't be serious. Clearly you're not an animal person.
Bugs are not the same as kitties and doggies.
When was the last time your home was invaded by hundreds of biting stinging puppies?

That's irrelevant. An animal is an animal. Next people will be saying that the killing of 'lesser' humans is justified too. 'Hey, it's ok, he was a homeless person - no one will miss him. Thank god it wasn't a lawyer, or a bank manager....!'

Well, we kill murderers by way of the death penalty all the time and most people agree that they are lesser humans.

Do I sense a death penalty thread on the horizon :?:

Anybody here ever smoosh an ant? Ever kill a spider? Well there is absolutely no difference in killing an ant, spider or other such creepy crawlies, and killing another animal. There is no animal caste system. Is there a hierarchy in these type scenarios that I am not aware of? :?:

....just saying.

Listen, dick licker, some of those pets belonged to little kids. So, not only are there traumatized kids that have lost precious family pets, but there's a legal issue as well. And the past has shown us with great evidence that kids that tend to do these sorts of things tend to grow up to be serial killers, sexual deviant fucks and general shit stains to society, something that can't be said about people that kill household nuissances. Your argument sucks. Go duct tape your fucking mouth to a bus and breathe normally. Now please excuse me while I go step on an ant.

Killing animals is the first sign of mental problems............usually of serial killers. When a child can kill a cat with no remorse, they move on to bigger prey.......people. Look into the profiles of most serial killers, most were abusive to animals............they need to be very concerned about this young man.

We make up our own.

Nobody's going to jail for killing spiders and ants. As a matter of fact, it's legal to hire someone to "off" them for you.

I wonder how many serial killers started out abusing roaches or ants? Would working at a pest control service qualify as a gateway to becoming a mass murderer?

I think is important to clarify ( for not create panic when you see your kid pull a dog tale for example) that there is a difference between children who have a rutine of animal cruelty (wich can indicate ammount of rage not well channeled), happen a lot in kids who had been abused physically or sexually, and of course this need specialist help.

There is other little children who also are cruel to animals but in this case is only consequence of a more inmature development, in wich cases parents should help him to create conscience about the consequences in their acts.

In this specific case (not for sure, because i only know few facts) but this succesive kind of lack of empathy for animals in this young man could indicate the begining or in a future an antisocial personality disorder; and i believe this kind of behavior should call the attention.

There was a girl that lived down the street from me - her family had an Old English Sheepdog, a really sweet dog, too - and she was so MEAN to this dog. And yes, she turned out to be a really troubled kid (and later a seriously screwed up "adult"). The things she used to do to this dog, I can't even go into, and this was her own family pet... her ass is lucky she never came near my dog when she came over to play. She was a really sick kid (who grew up to be a total skank and drug addict). They ended up giving the dog away because really, the whole family just couldn't be bothered with caring for him and I'm glad they got rid of him. He went to a new home where the people treated him well.

The way you explain it, i think she could be in the first group of children that i mention, not the second one, seem she got an animal cruelty rutine maintained in the time, this behavior should have the parents attention.
My young brother, when he was like 5 years old, he kick a little cat (the kitty literally fly ), when mom saw it, she went with my brother to see how was this little animal, besides to reprimand and lecture my brother, she make him part of the cat recover, so she went with my brother to the vet to see if the cat was okay (nothing serious happen for us and the kitty good fortune), step by step my brother start to create empathy for animals since that episode, actually he love and respect them now as a grown up.

 Sorry, Ginger. I had to throw something silly in here because this thread is depressing me. Yeah, yeah, ... I know... don't read it & all of that. I'm a Christian too, so I hope Jesus gets my humor. I wasn't trying to hate on anyone's religious beliefs. I DO love the "taze me, bro" comment, though. I haven't heard that in awhile. Mind if I steal it? [har dee har har]. :P

I'm also an animal lover too, so reading this thread kinda brings out the teary eyed side of me. My daughter wants a kitten & I'm debating on whether or not she's old enough for the responsibility. She's five. I'm going to get to see her this coming Sunday because her mother is letting me have her for the whole day, it being Father's Day & all. I can't wait. This is going to be such a LONG week.

Anyway, again, I'm not trying to hate on anyone's religious beliefs. I just needed to make light of things because this thread's been getting to me. I think I'll stick with something not-so-deep, like the single word thread or corny one liners. C-ya.

Yep, that smirk on his face makes me want to spend about 20 minutes in a locked room with him. He would be screaming to God how much he loves cats when I let him out of there. I wouldn't do that to an ordinary animal abuser, I'd try to get that person help, but this smirking little fucker needs an ass whipping like no other.

Hey Jason, don't mess with my faith............I let you not believe now don't I? Without ridicule or hate......Don't be hatin Bro! Don't make me taze you Bro! LOL! But I can understand if people shove it down ones throat...........no worries from me.............. :D

C-ya.

Good! LOL! I was joking with you mostly...........Hugs anyway! :D

Yeah, my wife kills any bug that she finds in the house. I better start keeping a closer eye on her from now on.

Really Sean? Are you that bored ?

Using words like "hierarchy" and "caste" in a post about bugs, spiders, ants, and "creepy crawlies" is priceless..

I do enjoy that you like to post argumentative viewpoints on certain topics, but this one is a reach homes.
